True, turbovol, but in fairness to the (swallowing hard) Soviets, the USA had station nuke tipped Jupiter rockets in Turkey. We didn't have silos back then, but the threat was just the same. We started the mess. Much as I hate admitting it, the USA policy and behavior, especially post-WWII was rather provocative. The Soviets responded in kind. Sadly, we are not the good guys we claim to be. The pity is, Eisenhower tried to steer us away from the 3war-loving military complex. And a murderous bastard though he was, Stalin actually tried to promote peaceful co-existence with the USA. But we refused, instead jumped into the Red Scare era. Where you see blindness or stupidity, I instead see a certain cynical intelligence. She knows exactly what to say to curry favor with both Trump and a certain segment of her electorate.
But myself, as a believer, I am quite disturbed by the comparison between Christ and Trump. I get the point that not all convictions are based on true guilt; but this is just a statement one does not make. I find it in very poor taste
