I do question how Kamala will poll in the Midwest. I think the Ds need to choose the person who can win MN, WI, MI, PA, and get OH closer to a tossup.

I think Kamala may keep NV in your column and would make GA a little more competitive than right now but I dont think she's winning GA.

Pretty sure she prevented certain vegetable seeds from being sold. Don’t recall anyone suggesting that as a preventative measure. That was nothing but dictatorial and makes her very vulnerable.

Whitmer would have to hold PA and AZ but she has decent chance to do that....

She would seal off Michigan without a doubt and would have the upper hand in the Midwest at least initially. Wear out her Covid policies enough and her strength in the Midwest will weaken her with the exception of Michigan.

She would have a better shot than Biden, but by Election Day, I’m not sure she would be significantly stronger than him. Again, she was a dictator during Covid. Wear that out though and many middle of the aisle folks will say “no thanks”.

What she did was indefensible. If Trump stays on the attack on her Covid policies, he has a dang good shot of beating her. All of this assuming she ends up being at the top of the ticket which isn’t a guarantee.

Polls for Whitmer and Newsom are not especially relevant given that they haven't been campaigning for themselves and don't necessarily
have a national profile--especially Whitmore. I suspect if one of these two would get the nomination, his or her numbers would rise as each
is impressive. Newsom is smart and quick and would tear into Trump as he did that loser DeSantis in their debate, and in way that Biden
can't.

It's annoying because had Biden done the wise thing and settled for one term, and one of these two were the presumptive Democratic nominee, he or she would probably be comfortably ahead of the gangster in the polls. I suspect Biden's age has been a big factor in this being close, according to the polls, all along.

On the other hand, if Republicans weren't freakin' idiotic fascists and had made, say, Haley or somebody sensible the nominee, she or he would probably be comfortably ahead. It's absolutely disgraceful that GOP voters have stuck with the treasonous, corrupt lowlife.

Covid is not going to be a factor in this election for anybody. A few rednecks might still be animated about it, but it's not a major factor by any stretch.
