2024 Recruiting Thread

I literally said she’ll be a good player but isn’t the answer rn…. Reading is hard. There is so much Tess hate here. Every other post is who should start over her… so if that not hate I’d hate to see what is

How is how you phrased that response not hate on JP? We all see the deficiencies in both…I don’t recall any saying Tess needs to transfer but her production lately doesn’t mean her spot as a starter should be locked in.

Hate is a strong word just bc someone feels as if Tess shouldn't start. I mean Tess shouldn't start period, she might make a couple of 3s a game but she literally gives up so many points on D.
She should not be starting over several girls on the team but for some reason she is ???? Jmo

Nothing wrong with being honest.

Shooting hasn’t been the issue other than her being comfortable on the floor. I wish she would pull up from deeper when in to have less contest. I was specifically mentioning her step back air ball against LSU. I agree just scoot back

There is insight right up ⬆️ there…needs moar ass on her, though. She’ll get there.
she doesn't need more ass on her
she just needs her ass on the floor more

compare what Justine did when she got 9 or more minutes v Tess' production for more than nine mins

I recall reading about Justine's recruitment. She was very happy that Kellie presented her with a plan during her recruitment for the way Kellie would use her talents. She thought Kellie's plan for her was better than others. That was a big reason why she committed.

So, that plan in effect is a contract between the two. I don't know what the plan was, but I'm assuming Kellie is following it. If she isn't Justine would have good reason to leave. I don't know what is keeping her off the floor other than defense and rebounding, which are Kellie's hallmarks. But I also assume those things were part of the plan - ie - you will play when your defense and rebounding improve to the point where I can put you on the floor.

6’5 6th grader Jayden McClain will be at the game too. Do we know if anyone else will be there?

U really tryna compare 2 blowout games to Tess LMAOOOOO…

Now do Tess’s production in conference play.
I think u have a better case against Puckett and our small guards.

Tess is top 3 in production for this team . Please move on to other players

Thanks, was hoping it was Justine’s parents. Might help in taking the long view although all of our kid’s parents seem pretty well balanced.

What? The dreaded husband/wife coaching team? Getting to be a real thing.

I don’t disagree but there’s more girls one could point to to say “hey i think JP could use some of those” (I agree she could/should definitely get more.)
Not just the girl who has double digits in half of our SEC games on 40+% shooting
but how many of them are long range gunners?
Both on the floor in certain situations would be interesting if designed well

14 games of 6 points or less on the year. Two buckshots. We’ve only played 28

Again her SEC numbers are better. I could say the same of beloved Jill. She shouldn’t play bc she has 15 games under 6 points and 4 zero point games. Lmao she averages 16 mins and Tess 22. Jill averages 1.5 turnovers also Tess only .7 in more minutes.

Can’t pick and choose which games to cherry pick for the case. She’s a 3 year player…I’m a benchmark guy, what did you do against Stanford, UConn, LSU and SC is coming up. You chose to say SEC in a year where the SEC is supposedly down. I’m not against Tess playing, believe she needs minutes off the bench as a role player based on what she’s done in the big games.

Tess is touted as the “sharp shooter” of the team.
