Season ticket holders -check your email for information on the cost of 2025 season tickets. They’re letting people know in advance.

Would love to see someone do a comparison of ticket and donor requirements at similar stadiums in the SEC. Knew prices were gonna increase, but basically doubling prices in back-to-back years seems a bit much. One effect I think will happen is the increase will price out some current season ticket holders, including those who have been there through the lean years.

They should be more concerned about the tix that consistently go unused, like the continuous empty seats in the MVP sections that are visible on TV.Not sure if anyone else had this issue. My account was flagged because I transferred “too many” games. I transferred these, many sometimes free, to family members of parents. Not sure if this is normal or if they’re trying to make room for the big money. I had to call 3 times to get cleared to renew my seats.

Same thing happened to me and it bothered me as it came without warning and said I could not renew my tickets. I appealed and was told after a review I could renew but they would “keep an eye on my account.”Not sure if anyone else had this issue. My account was flagged because I transferred “too many” games. Granted I sold most of my tickets this past spring, but this season of life for me made it difficult to get to games (3 active boys including a varsity high school player).
Many on here criticize people like me for selling tickets. But it is the easiest way to make sure someone uses your tickets when you can’t go, you don’t have to transfer them or anything. This year I will likely just leave them un-used since my account is being watched. If I transfer them to someone for free…..the ticket office will assume I’ve re-sold them. It is very frustrating as you have to transfer them for anyone else to use them, my own son can’t login to my account and use them as it’s linked to my Apple ID (I have to transfer them to him if he goes with friends).
So the result will be less tickets will be on the secondary market and prices will be even higher and tickets more scarce.
I have football tickets as well, and I’m concerned they will flag those as I transfer many of those to friends to use. I’ve followed all Vol sports through good and bad since i was a kid in the early 80s……it’s very frustrating to think I’m being watched and can’t use my tickets how I want to. Especially when the AD and ticket office leadership have been Vols for a few years. I can’t help but think I’m getting pushed out for more donor money.
Taylorvol - in correspondence with the ticket office they indicated my account would be monitored due to high volume of forwards and resale activity. So it seems they are monitoring transfers (“forwards”), which I get as there are plenty of other secondary markets where you can sell and have to transfer.Just to clarify…The Athletic Dept isn’t monitoring transferred tickets. They, in fact, encourage and want you to transfer tickets to family and friends. They don’t want unused tickets resulting in empty seats. However, they are absolutely monitoring tickets that are resold on Ticketmaster. In fact, they know exactly how often and for how much tickets are resold. It‘s hard to create a “hornet’s nest” environment when season ticket holders don’t use their tickets (or don’t transfer them). With that said, there’s a percentage of season ticket holders who rarely attend games and resell 90% of their tickets. Some are glorified ”scalpers” aka resellers who bought season tickets simply to make $. The AD is attempting to put an end to this practice. Many other schools have already done the same.
I guarantee you they have ZERO concern when you transfer tickets to an end user (ie a fan who attends game). Now if those “transferred” tickets end up ultimately being resold on Ticketmaster, or other secondary market sites, then that’s being monitored and flagged. They DO NOT want seats being empty or being leveraged to primarily resell. They needn't run their public service announcements about wanting transfers to fill LNS. If they're going to flag me for transfers, I will just let them go empty. They can't have it both ways.
I remember the same thing. Like you, I know I qualified but thought I missed out on any announcement. While ticket utilization is being talked about…
Did I dream it, or did UT tell us last year there would be some drawings or something like that for season ticket holders that attended a certain percentage of games?
I know I hit their number, but never heard anything else about it. Figured I just missed the announcement.
