Could be wrong but feels to me like that’s more wishful thinking on their part about Robinson because they’re feeling less confident in Lanier and there’s not much else left. Even if Robinson withdraws it’s been said Kansas might be the favorite and is ready to spend big as they’ve been waiting/hoping for him. BYU will also be in play and was supposedly Lanier’s highest bidder, have to think they would still have money. Could see Robinson’s number getting much higher than Lanier and probably towards the high end of what anyone got this offseason.

I’ll probably get roasted for this but I see shades of Curry in his game. I think it’s his ability to shoot off the dribble and to creat his own shoot and his quick release. Highly doubt he’s in the same ballpark with his 3 point shot though.

Igor's length and shooting ability outside the arc and driving to the bucket reminds me of KD.

I’ll be the one getting roasted because I seem to be the only one that doesn’t see this guy as an SEC player. The dudes he’d be playing against are light years better, bigger, and faster than guys you see him playing in this reel. Maybe he could grow into that type of player, but I just don’t see the quickness needed.

That would make sense that Cade would be the fill in at 4 or 5, but I don’t believe Cade played the 5 last season.

Probably just a HS project. Don’t forget that we also have Phillips. He hasn’t been mentioned much but I’d bet he plays before anyone we pick up at this stage.

I agree. This kid scares me. We already had SV who didn’t have the quickness to play the point in the SEC and SV at least had film from camps against American talent. This kid doesn’t seem to have any film that isn’t against Euro talent which makes it hard to determine if he does have the athleticism necessary to compete in the SEC.

He’s worth the risk, imo. It’s not like he’s gonna be asked to play this coming year. Redshirt, hit the weight room, and see how he does in practice. If he doesn’t pan out, the portal is right there.
