You dead serious? Barker when she’s focused is Top 8 in the NCAA.Welcome Ruby Whitehorn.
Great pickup Coach Caldwell.
One more post and the roster is set.
Anyone suggesting there is need to add a forward like Janiah Barker is being political.
Nothing on film suggests Janiah Barker is a better player than Alyssa Latham or that she will make Tennessee a better team.
I’ll take Sara Puckett, Alyssa Latham, and possibly another young post in the 4 spot any day of the week before adding Barker. She does not fit Tennessee.
GBO
Let’s not jump the gun. It’s a solid class (fantastic for the little amount of time she had) but HS recruiting has to show up too. You set unrealistic standards for Coach C sometimes. It’s just a way to discredit what has been an absolute dominating month of transfer portal recruiting by Coach Caldwell, Coach Lazo, and Coach Tubner.
This could become the best recruiting staff in the SEC.
See now you writing words for ppl. You said Spearman was better than Barker. Which is a no, at this point in time. Where in that post did I discredit Coach Kim.Bringing up players like that is just a way for some posters to discredit or move the goalpost on what has been an absolute dominating month of transfer portal recruiting by Coach Caldwell, Coach Lazo, and Coach Tubner.
This could become the best recruiting staff in the SEC.
I thought the same thing about the starters. Could be four transfers and a 2 yr, but I think Jill and/or Sara may have something to say about that.Coach Kim basically brought in her own starting 5 + Jewel.
I’m guessing starters will be Spencer, Spear, Whitehorn, Latham and Spearman.
Great job recruiting speed and scoring.
I'm saying a nine deep rotation .I thought the same thing about the starters. Could be four transfers and a 2 yr, but I think Jill and/or Sara may have something to say about that.
This really is a very new era for the LVs, obviously badly needed. It's tough on us older fans to see the end to the old era though. Not just about Pat and coaching, but also the end of the four year player era. There will be some of course, but they're quickly becoming the minority. You feel like you don't get to "know" the players, not watch them grow up. Honestly it's probably better to de-personalize and look at it more clinicly and professionally though.
Long as the core LV standards are upheld, esp 100% graduation, we'll get use to it I'm sure.
