She’s gonna be out there a lot. I think we go 10 deep realistically. There are gonna be a couple girls who see almost no time though. If Tess doesn’t lean up and speed up her minutes will drop as well.

I’m so pumped at the moment, just knew Ruby was gonna be a Lady Vol but she started making me nervous. I do think, if anything, she may have had some thoughts about staying at Clemson.

After I saw they signed Mia Moore I figured we were gonna hear from Ruby today one way or the other.

I cannot wait to see this team play. We have more team speed than we’ve had in decades. Maybe the fastest team since some of the teams with Speedy on them.

Like it’s cool to feel great about the players we’ve gotten, but to blatantly lie like that. I think a new situation will do wonders for her somewhere to instill some discipline.

Yeah I think she will blossom no matter where she goes. Potential is through the roof. I’ve maintained for years on here that Joni isn’t a good coach and a lot of that is due to her inability to develop players.

She’s had some super talented players with huge potential that just never got there. I said all season Barker needed to transfer, you could just tell it was a bad situation. She looked checked out most of the season and the last third Taylor had given up.

this is HUGE peeps. there is a common denominator here with these recruits. they are ALL tough as nails, athletic as hell, and have shown a willingness to play solid defense. i think the days of us being "not tough enough" (harper's words not mine) are long gone. i haven't been this excited for a LV season since Ariel, Burdick, and crew were playing in orange.

We can agree to disagree, i disagree with you on coach Joni she is a good coach and we all know Barker is a hot head. It's her way or highway and i think her moving was the best for the both and the team.

100% agree. We have almost recruited an entire starting five of elite athletes. Pretty incredible compared to where the naysayers said we would be when CKC was announced as coach. This is proof that great players want to have freedom on the court to shine. It is really a superb selling point for recruiting. To say it differently, in the past, recruits knew we played a slow offensive game in half-court with the paint being the goal for each possession. Not anymore! I suspect our appeal for elite guards will only grow. This is a guard's/mobile post player's dream system.

Yeah we’ll have to disagree. I don’t think Joni can coach her way out of a wet paper sack.

Would have made a great associate head coach in charge of defense somewhere but she doesn’t have it as a head coach imo. She’s gonna be let go from A&M next season unless they have a surprise big improvement.

They are paying her $1.25 million they aren’t gonna go for another sub .500 sec season. Right now she has a .25 winning % at A&M in the SEC. She was only 55% at UGA and really only had one good season there imo.
