2024 TRANSFER TRACKER

Your 2 guard better be able to be a great ball handler or your in trouble. The 4 and 5 position has changed. The PF is gone, it's a stretch 4 now. Alot of teams even have stretch 5. The Edey's of the world are becoming extinct. Mist team have/want athletic 4's and 5's to rebound and Blick shots. Rennia and RJ are swing players 3 or 4's. Chamique was a 3. Neither RJ or Rennia were/are great ball handlers. Your playing old school basketball and I'm play present day basketball. My team would beat your team easily with your philosophy.
then quit using numbering for players,,,you can't have both
positionless BB has PG/combo-guards, wings, post,,,no 12345's
You're using old numbers for new positions

Well there's 5 players on the floor. Not many teams play 5 out. Maybe CKC will, we shall see. It'll be hard to beat the USCjr, LSU, UConn's with that philosophy. Time will tell has she plays it. Just win, idc how many guards she plays.

Funny the conversation in one month went from not gonna make tournament to she ain’t getting enough of the right type of players to beat the final 4 teams…IE…get the perfect players in 30ish days...I just gotta laugh…

How will it be hard to beat them with that philosophy?

Rebounding; rim protection, and scoring in the low post. Hey I hope whatever she does works, but imo, it'll be tough to do night in night out. We shall see.
what does five out have to do with our rim protection? Shouldn’t it clear the middle allowing us to drive the basketball easier. As for low post scoring…. our post will sprint to the middle…. set post position and then quickly move out of the post…..It also helps offensive rebounding bc the defense is not in normal rebounding position.

This time of year,,posters search for anything basketball,,,especially now with the coaching change

The key will be "who dictates the matchups"...right now Coach Kim's philosophy seems to be win with speed and pressure/lose with pressure
It is when she goes up against a coach who can force her to matchup that she may have trouble
But from what I get in hearing her and seeing her targeted recruits/portals,,,she will have them in 5th gear from minute one to minute last no matter what the game is..we'll see if she has an alternate strategy lined up

Yeah it'll be that easy. The SEC and blue blood have forgot how to play. Like I said we will see.

I agree

If I know Kim CALDWELL, she is not sitting around worrying about how she is going to beat South Carolina, LSU, or UCONN. She is worrying about how soon her players will catch on to all the things she wants them to do during the games they play. And she is wondering how hard they are going to play. This is all she cares about and it is all she wonders about. It is called, .........THE UNKNOWN.

You're traveling into another dimension. A dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. You're about to enter a wondrous land whose boundary is the imagination. That's the signpost up ahead. Your next stop: The Caldwell Zone.

It’s going to be fun watching us play against these bigs…

1. How long can they sprint up and down the court?
2. Can we keep them out of the middle on defense like we plan to do?
3. Can we force difficult entry passes?
4. Will we be able to adjust properly if they are dominating us down low?
5. Defend the 3 :)

She should be worried about South Carolina, LSU and especially UConn. Whoever they are recruiting needs to be our focus…and not players that are being recruited by other programs. There are levels to this… and if she she can recruit to beat those schools then she can beat any school. So she should have some focus on what those schools do regardless of her philosophy
