Gather the most talent at each position and let them play. CKC has gathered a very good portal class to this point. Here's hoping she adds Dauda and Barker, then it becomes a Great class. Love the fact these ladies have multiple years. She's doing it the right way. All that's left us winning on the court and the HS recruits will follow. CKC is off to a great start.

Sure it can…. Villanova’s men’s team won a national championship with a lineup that had 3 guards…. 1 guard/forward…. and 1 forward….. It will be interesting watching CKC mix and match lineups…. I hope we get Dauda and/or Barker though.

The only problem I see is rebounding, both on offense and defense. Unless you have at least one 6-4 type -layer, who can run the floor handle the ball, and be quick enough to beat the 6-6/6-7 centers to the ball, you will give up a lot of points in the paint and have difficulty in getting offensive rebound points. The advantage should be creating a lot of turnovers on defense. I think it will work if we can recruit the right -layers. From what I have seen so far, I believe CKC will be able to do it.

Lol Tennessee, SC, and LSU team are basically identical in overall team size.

What are people looking at?

The players choose, so I doubt that’s the reason.

Then you should look a little closer at South Carolina & LSU's rosters. LSU has 6-6 Del Rosario with great 4 players in Smyth and Marrow and South Carolina Add Adhel Tac a big 6-5 post alongside Samika Walker at 6-5. Dawn and Kim don't just recruit that size just because. They know it is necessary to be able to compete for a SEC and/or National Championship. Those thinking that a 4 guard lineup in this league is going to win consistently is just wrong. If this was the case we would see the Auburns, Arkansas's and Missouri's in the top of the league year over year and we don't see that.

I believe CKC is smart as you have said. I also believes that she realizes that Marshall had a difficult time matching size with VaTech. Now she will be playing D1 talent mostly with a lot of athletic Bigs. She must come up with a plan for every situation.

I think you mean Virginia Tech….. They didn’t play NC State….. she only had 3 girls 6’0-6’1 and they weren’t very talented.

This is just pitiful at this point. Like I said, the teams are basically identical in size.

A lot of posters seem to believe that most of what is left from the last coaching staff, have too many flaws and issues, however, I believe that CKC will get the best from each of them. I think we will be surprised how well these ladies will play under this new coaching staff.

Vol Future… there isn’t any good guards out there because Ole Miss May have taken Gabby Elliott who is the best left. They are going to try and get Dauda or Barker. Because #1 Barker could play the 3/ or the 4 and Dauda could play the 4/or the 5. They both have two years left… that way they don’t have to sign 6 freshman and they only have to sign 4 sophomores in the 2025 class.

I don’t disagree but as many have posted to my point… “you don’t transfer to not play” and “you don’t bring in transfers to not play them” so to that extent it can cause problems. I actually think she isn’t promising anything so. Idk tho. But would some of them take that chance here and not play???

Also I just know she really likes guards so..
