2024 TRANSFER TRACKER

I look at a players game and project protection and not the finished product. As an example I’ll use one of my other favorites Lauren Betts, last year she averaged 5ppg but I knew she had the game to be great, I said we should get her and make Key a backup and most people on here said she wasn’t good because she didn’t get playing time at Stanford, well look how that turned out. If I can see enough film to analyzed their game I can make my decision. Now do u understand how I evaluate players?
Didn't hurt any to have Betts' breakout performance in Mexico at Americup last summer to help make that prediction, She was clearly the best post on that team and played far more and far better than some better known post players on that team.

Yeah I’m meaning these 30-100 players bc they are always a mixed bag..

Even more mixed are the JPs and Destinees who excel at others with no HS rank…

Well Betts was a unanimous NUMBER 1 player in the country and was a USA tournament MVP… so… i mean. Everyone knew she would be good eventually.
You have number ones that never live up to the hype, that’s why I don’t go on rankings, I just watch and make my own judgement. As an example for that I’ll use top ten recruit Pissot, everyone was happy to get her because of her ranking but after I watched her games I didn’t like what I saw and thought she was overrated, turns out I was right about that as well. I’m not saying I’m always right but I need to see a persons game to make a judgement. Just like players on last years roster and this years roster are not good enough but most people think they are, we just think different;y when it comes to building a championship roster.

Jewel was ranked #82 overall by ESPN in the 2020 class and was only graded at a 4 star 94 rating.

Interestingly it seems nobody thought she had much of a 3 point game and was more of a mid-range player. Just not the case for her career lol.

No this was before that, you can go back and look it up, once she played good I was saying I told u guys she was the real deal. I even posted a video of her from Stanford and said I like how she fights for position, plays big, can catch a pass when open or in traffic, makes easy layups and finish with contact, all things we was lacking from our center.

I was referring to Dark P's post about having discovered Betts before anyone else. LOL, he's already corrected me. He knew it first.
Not saying I knew first but I found out when I was looking for players I think could help make our roster better, here’s one of my posts and u can see the date for reference.

Honestly Dark, I don’t remember ANYONE on here saying Betts wasn’t good because of the minutes she played. You have it kinda bad at creating narratives like that to make it seem as if you were right all along about things.

Does this ring a bell? a few more people said things but I’m not really trying to look for the, but I remember.IMG_1042.jpeg
