2024 TRANSFER TRACKER

Because we can! It's the beauty of a couple of dozen cranky people talking to each other. Conversation goes off on awesome tangents. I'm always tickled at thread police who bust in like the Righteous Avengers to protest such an outrage!

I almost miss the parade of apparently football posters who swore a two week allegiance of undying support for our new (hot) coach. They were a moment.
one of my friends told me last night he likes our new coach cause she seems “flustered” in front of a camera which is “cute” 🙃

You claimed they "weren't the greatest outside shooting team" and yet when I show you that they finished top 3 in the nation in 3 PT shooting you say "stats don't mean nothing to me".

How convenient....and ridiculous.
Don't fret, if this guy is who we think he is than you know he deals in fantasy, and not reality.

That definitely was…..a moment! So many new faces with so little WCBB knowledge. Our coaching search seemed to be a hot topic!!! 😂

it’s so confusing 😭 i never know where to post things, and sometimes the same things are posted in different places by different people. 😵‍💫
Yessssss! Like I’m going back and forth and don’t know what the hell is going on, one thread has Nye info, switch over to another and we’re talking about Dwyer, whole time I’m wondering who the hell that is, only to find out people were talking about her 3 pages back in the OTHER thread! 🤯 like what’s happeningggggg! 😩😂😂

But we need a Pg that can hit perimeter shots and shoots free throws at a high percentage. People on here said she’s not a good shooter and poor free throw shooter.
DP,

It wouldn't surprise me if Copp has worked on her outside shot a bunch these past 12 months. She may be awesome at that skill now, nobody knows yet. She didn't need any work at getting to the rim, she does that naturally.

That’s why I don’t judge her until I see her play, I haven’t seen anything yet. I’m just going on what other have said about her game. The good thing she wasn’t injured, so all she had to do was put in work.

I think we did and are, the coaches are following her. But I’ll wanted Laila Phelia first.

What did she do at Michigan? Despite having a better supporting cast and program at Michigan her numbers are not much different than Jewel Spear career at Wake Forest.

Actually to be fair her numbers are worse over three years at Michigan.

Seems like to me some fans here can accept what they call mediocre production from players on any roster and project them as being must have talent for UT.

Just my opinion.

I guess we will see when we play them, if we missed out or not.

All agree Coop looks to be an outstanding athlete. The question is around her offensive skills, which the SC fans tell us was the chink in the armor that kept her on the bench at SC. So that's the unknown. It's reasonable to think someone that athletically skilled can and has developed a reliable shot during her long hiatus. I've seen her practice, mostly with the male practice squad, a couple of times and while she didn't get up many shots, what I saw looked fine. I have great hope for her.
It could also be that Dawn isn’t the coach for her. Good as Dawn is, no coach is perfect for every player.

She is a good player, but would feel great to play them if that was all they had. Booker and Harmon and a host of other players are going to make it tough for her to play a lot.

Her high school evaluations consistently praise her as a good shooter, especially from mid range. So, perhaps her learning curve is not that much compared to people who can just make layups.

She can play Sf as well, that’s where she would play here.
Well to be frank we have a system of “dribblers” and “non-dribblers”

That’s the easiest way to put it

Hard to really say “positions” she would definitely be more on ball than say Tess
