Chance is the Younger sister of Amber Gray, who ultimately had to leave the lady vols due to a brain aneurism following her freshman year. This is a very athletic family. Both Amber and Chance were Mcdonalds all american. Chance was also on the All Freshman team while at Oregon and made the Pac 12 all defensive team. I would have loved to have seen her in orange.
Oh wow I don’t know that!

In 2009, while playing basketball at The University of Tennessee, Amber suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke and brain aneurysm. A year later she was back playing collegiately and went on to play professionally for 4 seasons in France before retiring in 2021. She is the owner of WHERE2NEXT HOOPS and the founder of The Amber Gray WHERE2NEXT Foundation, where she strives to inspire, encourage, and motivate our youth to focus on the next phase of their life, as where you’re going is more significant than where you have been. In addition to her basketball abilities and non-profit ventures, Amber is the Director of Youth Development for FBC MidWest Women's AAU Basketball Program, Assistant Coach for Sycamore High School Women's Basketball Team, and a paraprofessional for high school students with Mental Disabilities. She has spoken at Jr. High Schools and High Schools in Cincinnati, Ohio, Amateur Athletic Union (AAU Nationals), Local Churches, Children’s Hospitals as well as local Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs.

She had all the characteristics that Pat Summit Liked and encouraged!

Kenny Brooks recruited Tamari very heavily so this does not surprise me although I think we may have had a chance for her with our former staff. Her mother loves what Tennessee did for Tamari.
Brooks has gotten dragged here lately, apparently a bit unfairly. Dragged for team drama, yet the only cited examples were two times 20 yrs apart. Also dragged for general ickiness, apparently overfond w his players, though I've never seen or heard that before. But players sure don't have any problem with any of it. They follow him after already having played for him and are recruited by him all the time.

I guess Mom Key's life got a bit easier, but Lexington is way further for her than Chapel Hill was! It is ashamed Tamari and Teoni couldn't have played together this year, and I believe that's exactly what would have happened.

The verdict is out on KB.. he had 8 girls stay at VT… he also had 2 enter the portal and return.

His roster is looking better by the day. Still in development overall but we will see

I just looked at her stats at NC. She averaged 10 minutes a game with 2.7 pts and 2.5 rebounds. For a 6'4 player, those numbers really seem substandard. Was she injured this season?

Hmm, a little surprised she didn't go back to KY. Good get for McGuff.

I'll always think of Petty as the ponytail puller! I mean ponytail yanker. She snapped Karo's neck back it was so blatant.
KB didn’t just clean staff he cleaned house 🏠 I don’t think we’ll see anyone back for KY that matters. Just the 2 local girls

She got injured early then never got a chance to make the rotation… tale as old as basketball

She balled out in their televised preseason scrimmage

I’m sorry but if Coach Caldwell and Tennessee WBB signed a player out of the portal that averaged less than 5 ppg, what would the reaction had been today?

If it’s a young player I’m fine with it. We need some roster bulk and not everyone we add this off seasons is going to be a double digit scorer.
