Tubner and Lazo will bring recruiting connections (and perhaps transfer prospects) that CKC simply could not have at this point. The kind of players that are at Bama and MissSt also seem like good fits for the "system" we are all assuming that CKC will implement. I was nervous prior to these hires but I am now confident that this staff will bring in the players needed to round out the roster. And I am hoping that a returning player like Jillian who looked lost this season might thrive in a faster paced system. Wynn should benefit greatly as well.No guarantees bringing those types in… just saying
By bringing in younger you guarantee your future and foundation to build…
But I get what u mean. There is enough talent in the portal but you just aren’t getting them with a new coach.
More than Wynn and Jill… I think most will benefit from the change. I agree now Poffenbarger and Rogers are at the top of my “keep your eyes on”Tubner and Lazo will bring recruiting connections (and perhaps transfer prospects) that CKC simply could not have at this point. But u have maybe 5 that’s at the top of the list, that’s who I would shoot for first, a;ways go after the best, and if not then I guess u just upgrade the positions we have on our roster.Yes the 25 or so you could consider stars probably will end up with an established coach with a clear chance to get to the final four.
He's back. The fanatics that have got their tails handed to them time and time again since the start of April have changed the goal posts so many times it is not even funny. They do not have a clue about recruiting. Every player they talk up is not a can’t miss player because none exist in the portal. It has to fit. Make sense for both sides. That is why after hiring the best young talented coach and adding a coaching staff filled with elite assistants nothing said on any page of this thread matters in terms of recruiting. I trust any player that is recruited and commits to UT is going to make this team better. I am confident once the roster is finalized UT will have a championship caliber roster. And quoting me, indirect posts, or constantly fabricating the truth will not change anything the returning players,Coach Caldwell, the athletic administration, the new assistant coaches, and true fans have already won this off-season. 2024-2025 is scary hours on Rocky Top.
This reminds me very little of the rhetorical question from a hotel minibus driver going from the Loop to the Navy Pier in Chicago, circa 1981: What do you call a cow with no legs?Somewhat shakily and awkwardly.
I misread /interpreted your post then .Sorry about that .The “board” includes us all in a kind of self-effacing way. It is much like the difference between saying we are all sinners who need to repent versus “You are a sinner who shall burn in hell.” Your inability to appreciate the difference is perhaps telling but maybe it’s not. You seem to be in an angry, bomb tossing mood today. I hope all is well with you
She's turning into a very steady ball player. Her mother, Kelli, is a Belmont Hall of Famer; and her Lawrenceburg High School alumni dad, David, played MLB (pitcher) for nearly two decades. The family has close ties to Alabama; in fact, Karly played AAU ball with Coach Currie's daughter. So, a strong bond there, but they are Tennesseans.Alabama's Karly Weathers fits the Kim profile. Came on strong for Alabama and is a Tenn. native. My guess is that she is loyal to Coach Currie and grateful to her for bringing her into the fold after we passed on her
Could have been the same driver that took us from O’Hare to Great Lakes Naval Training Center back in late 60’s. Whatta trip. This reminds me very little of the rhetorical question from a hotel minibus driver going from the Loop to the Navy Pier in Chicago, circa 1981: What do you call a cow with no legs?
