My take-- RJ called her teammates her "children" and they called her their Michael Jordan, so, I think it was fair to say she was their leader. Leaders don;t have to be scream in your face types. She was lead by example and a little but of their super hero-- Rickea will save us!!

Tess was more vocal and probably the one who helped calm the team and talk them up when needed. So both had roles.

Tess Darby, based upon her three point shooting ability alone, is going to be given every chance to be a big on the court contributor to this LV squad, what she does with that opportunity is up to her. She will be a leader either way as a fifth year senior. She likely wonā€™t be a starter (itā€™s possible of course), but I bet in the first third of the season she gets extended minutes in the rotations to see if she can play well enough defensively in the new system, she could be a big piece. She is still the best shooter from outside on the roster, and there is much value in that alone In this offense.

I knew you would be purely incapable of even saying there were leaders on Kellieā€™s team. You are nothing if not predictable!
The other players felt there were team leaders and that is proof enough.

It isnā€™t like DeBerry where sheā€™s only got one season of eligibility and couldnā€™t improve under one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Iā€™ve also been saying Lety is an interesting pick for a while. Havenā€™t seen any film on her at all though, but was highly ranked coming into college and with her height, and given that sheā€™s got three years left, if sheā€™s got any kind of athletic ability at all, I think she might be an interesting project to take on. Who knows?
