and it will come down to if the Rs can do something with it.
and Trump won't have a RINO argument to hide behind this time. McConnell stepping down, last couple elections have been filled with MAGA RINOs, he's got the support he theoretically needs.
They're still counting. There were 4 races in California that Republicans were leading. Now just 3. I'm not sure whether they called one for the Republicans or the democrat took the lead. The AP didn't change from 214. I did notice they called that Washington race where it was R vs R but the number stayed at 214. Maybe they already had that in the republican column?RCP has it 219R (+1)/209D (-1) 7 to call. AP still at 214R (+3)/205D(-3) 16 to call.
Hard to see anyway D take the House. Given the redistricting efforts of Eric Holder and Co this is a loss for Ds - they stacked the deck to take the House.

ridiculousLooks like the AP moved the total to 216 for the GOP. Some really tight races left. It amazes me that over a week from the election and we're still counting votes.
The lonely remaining IA race with 99% in shows the GOP with a lead of 700 votes out of a little over 200,000 votes cast.
In the lone AZ race left the GOP candidate leads by around 6000 votes on a little under 400,000 votes cast with 90% counted.
Alaska's last uncalled race has the GOP winning by about 10,000 votes on 300,000 total cast votes with 91% cast. (This would be a flip).
That leaves California with three seats in which Republicans lead, district 13, 41, and district 45.
13 the GOP candidate leads by 3000 votes on 150,000 cast with 70% reporting.
In the 41s, the republican leads by 8,000 votes on 315,000 cast with 79% reported.
For the 45th, the GOP candidate leads the count, at 87% reporting, by a little over 2,000 votes out of a little under 300,000 cast.
California is still counting though.
Sounds like you’ve analyzed this. What’s your best guess on the final outcome? How many seats you think each party gets?Looks like the AP moved the total to 216 for the GOP. Some really tight races left. It amazes me that over a week from the election and we're still counting votes.

It depends on how long California keeps counting.Sounds like you’ve analyzed this. What’s your best guess on the final outcome? How many seats you think each party gets?
California has counted until the dems have taken the lead in yet another race.
I predicted 220 earliest in this thread despite the GOP leading in several races in California full well knowing they'd count until the dems won. Cheating is the democratic way.
