She said she should be included and not just about one person, which is true. So please show me where she just gives all the credit to herself and doesn’t praise her team and the players before her?

a lot of “I” in both those clips. She mentioned nobody outside of Kennedy.

Sky’s Angel Reese: “I’ll take the bad guy role & continue to take that & be that for my teammate. If I want to be that, I know I’ll go down in history. I’ll look back in 20 years & be like the reason why we’re watching women’s basketball is not just because of 1 person. It’s because of me, too. I want yall to realize that. Like, it's not just because of one person. A lot of us have done so much for this game… There are so many great players in this league that have deserved this for a really, really long time & luckily, it’s coming now.“

In the context of a discussion around the impact of the national title game, too, involving both of them

yes, what’s your take. Who’s the players?Again, a lot of “I” in her interviews nothing wrong with it. Nobody is saying she’s Peyton Manning giving direct credit to the greats that came before him.

What are you talking about? She gave direct credit to the players that came before her and gave direct credit to Sylvia Fowles below too. I think you are trying too hard to find things that aren't there

Don’t disagree on her last stance…probably should lead and end with that and less “I” if the message is team/league. Looks worse when the personal talk is highlighted in bold.

They asked her about herself lol. Bolding the "I" in things like "I'll look back in 20 years" or "I want y'all to realize that" as if those are selfish things to say is nasty work and could be applied to literally any player

Well, the bolded statements below all have "I" or "me" in them and are therefore selfish (sarcasm; they are the exact opposite)

“I don’t care about my individual accolades… I just try to focus on the team, and we’ve been losing. So, it doesn’t matter to me anything about me being ‘Rookie Of The Year.’“

It wasn’t misleading, she said what she said. I quoted her “I” frustration as is. She didn’t say because of myself and Rickea..she said because of “me too”

Or does that not fit the need of the parameters asked.

She was asked about Brink, show me where she gives credit to another rookie and says her name without them asking about that person.
