Meanwhile, Jordy's team has a big game today at 3 at home against Connecticut. Jordy's been playing great but the Storm overall have been on the skids a bit lately. They're still hanging around right outside the top 4 of the Liberty, Sun, Aces, and Lynx so this is a huge home game for them.

As I am typing on my solar powered, 100% recycled material laptop, sipping on fair trade coffee and applying some cruelty free skin care products while making a contribution to PETA. I just don't have time for that kind of thing because of, you know, all my volunteer work for habitats for humanity.

I’m going to watch, in spite of the Sun, lol.

Minnesota, Connecticut and Phoenix are just painful for me to watch for some reason.

And Minnesota is so good, Collier in particular is an incredible player. They are just so dang boring to watch lol.

I don't like watching the Sun, Phoenix, and the Aces. I like to watch Collier so much I'm good w Minny.

Atlanta is finally getting their long awaited PG Jordin Canada back today. Not sure how much that will help against the Liberty. Also not sure about Howard's status.

I'm three screening it today, watching the Vol baseball game and also the Braves/Yankee game with Fever/Sky about to start. Made sure to get the honeydos and the workout in early today.

Vols need to pick up the hitting! Would be awful if the baseball team fell short for the same reason the softball team did - vaunted offense cannot get the big hit with runners on.

I think Howard is probably done for the year. They haven’t made it completely clear but I think she’s probably out for the season.

Thinking the same for Arike. Hard to tell how the Wings would have been this season. They have had horrible luck with injuries this year.

I do like Coach Trammell. She seems down to earth and some of her schemes are decent. They just don’t have the horses right now.

I’ll leave it up to the women on here to judge how another women dresses, but as for the game the Sky should be massive underdogs, with all the top 1-2 draft picks they have the Sky shouldn’t even be able to keep it close.

Always tough to beat a team 3 times.

Fever have really been clicking but I do think I’d give the edge to Chicago today at home. If Boston continues her elevated play they can’t match her in the paint though.

Last game they really couldn’t contain Clark, tried to put Mabrey on her and she was getting cooked. They have better defenders but at the detriment of their offense when they play them too many minutes.

No comment on the outfit.

It should be a blowout for Indiana, it shouldn’t even be close. The Sky have the worse roster in the league, no wonder they were picked to finish last.

In this thread, there was some debate about the extent of Reese's prior injuries and whether or not she has a metal rod supporting her tibia.

She does, it came after the foot injury which also required surgery:

And it makes her run differently, but people on here like to talk about how she runs. Look at her previously, she moved much better, but coming back from that took hard work.

Prehistoric was exactly my thought. The bar got set very high this weekend.

So I didn't know about the rod. But she's still awkward as hell. All the more amazing what she accomplishes on court. Still not a smooth, easy watch.
