"Girardi, who’s the daughter of former MLB manager Joe Girardi and younger brother of FIU infielder Dante Girardi, was an important part of a state championship as a freshman and even better as a sophomore. The 6-foot wing averaged 23.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game, and already holds scholarship offers from Pittsburgh, Northwestern and several Ivy League schools."
We’re due for a number 1 class and I have a feeling this one will be it. I can’t wait to see how the dominoes fall for this class!
Yep we seem to be stuck fishing in the 26-50 pond. Then we hope one of them grows into a top 20. It's a hurdle we definitely need to clear. Not saying you're right or wrong, but is there any indication that Tennessee is in good shape with any of the top 20 players in the class? That's ultimately where great classes are made...
It seems like we’re moving in the right direction with offers at least. They may be loosening some of their checklists.Yep we seem to be stuck fishing in the 26-50 pond. Then we hope one of them grows into a top 20. It's a hurdle we definitely need to clear.
Do all these offers even mean anything? Do coaches just throw offers around like this after big exposure events? Just seems like you get an offer, and you get an offer, . . .
I'll take the 26-50 pond if the ladies want to be here and put their heart in it over a top 20 recruit who is only looking for a pay day.Yep we seem to be stuck fishing in the 26-50 pond. Then we hope one of them grows into a top 20. It's a hurdle we definitely need to clear.

Of course. Who wouldn't? But I don't think it's a zero sum game. Got to be some top 25s who check all those boxes. Competition is strong for those, but that's the pond we need to be in to consistently compete for big things. And all our recruits don't have to come from the big lake, we can still roster fill with smaller fish. We have to get back to that mix though IMO.I'll take the 26-50 pond if the ladies want to be here and put their heart in it over a top 20 recruit who is only looking for a pay day.
