2025 Recruiting

Predicting a commitment based off comments is ridiculous. Y’all need to do better
This is a fan ("fanatics") forum. Being ridiculous kinda comes with the territory. Folks who want nothing but well-vetted-sources professional reporting only should probably do themselves a favor and take visiting fan forums off their daily to-do lists. 😅

I wouldn't disagree with anything you wrote.

But there's also this phenomenon of people believing ridiculous statements made here (because they read them here), and then later coming down hard on the coaches or players or administration because reality didn't conform to the ridiculousness they read.

So there's kind of a "family obligation" to protect the uninformed innocents from the misleading or knee-jerk bs by posting corrective statements. That's a sensitive task in any venue, and safe to say that anonymity seldom promotes the gentle use of words.

The ideal would obviously be if everyone challenged bad information or questionable opinions with tender loving diplomacy. I think we have a few regular posters who could offer an online class on peacemaking.

For whatever reason, the baseball forum usually earns the Nobel Peace Prize for messenger board behavior. Usually. 😏 About the closest this forum comes to anything Nobel is throwing dynamite with short fuses.

Regarding Prawl, she is set to announce her choice on 11/11.

"The 'Angel number' 1111 is a powerful indicator that you are in alignment with the divine guidance and support of your angels. It signifies that you are on the right path and that the universe is conspiring in your favor. This number serves as a reminder to trust your intuition and have faith in the journey ahead."

Could be the reason she chose this date? Seems like a spiritual young lady.

But the football thread insists that the universe is against us!

Also, according to an On3 article:

Prawl stated -

“All three of those schools been very consistent, and it’s just continue building the relationship with the team. I think that’s my biggest thing and being comfortable with the playing style…making sure that I’m going to be getting a great development plan to make me a pro in the future.

“So that’s one of the boxes that we’re looking to check off. Playing as a freshman is something that we’re looking for. My biggest thing is relationships and just being comfortable where I am and happy.”

Based on my personal experience, I would question Nobel Peace Prize behavior from the baseball forum gang.
