Haven’t heard much of any official announcement date.
I agree and believe there’s a chance both could end up at Tennessee.
Still not a guarantee until they make it official!
I also wonder about some of the options this staff may pursue with International players. I’ve seen Coach Lazo and Coach Tubner go outside the states on a few recruiting trips.
It wouldn’t surprise me if this ends up being a 5 or 6 player recruiting class.

I wouldn’t be mad about it. In this day and age with the portal you can almost guarantee you’re going to lose some.

Especially if we practice as hard as we do. That just isn’t going to be for everyone and Kim isn’t going to coddle them.

That shouldn't come as a surprise. Anyone who commits has seen a practice and/or a game or 2. They know what they're getting into.

That’s a good point. I believe getting a class of 5-6 is more for the future than expecting any transfers. Most of the returnees probably could not have found a better fit. Each player is showing improvements.
All have a role and in weeks I expect them to be starting or top reserves.
A few seniors that have yet to have that same success but unfortunately have no eligibility remaining after this season are the ones that probably would’ve entered the portal at the end of season.

Five players. Five that started last season from ACC and SEC schools.

Now to the 2025 recruiting, Tennessee according to some currently have a Top 2 recruiting class. As you stated, instead of focusing on this, anticipating the arrival of elite talent, and supporting these future LVs these posters frequently get off-topic and even worse constantly overhype and overvalue prospects going elsewhere that aren’t even as good and certainly not superior to the talent that has committed to Tennessee.
Why in the world will Tennessee pay a HS prospect $1 million dollars that might not ever even average 20 ppg on this level? Every year this generational label gets thrown around and the player does not meet that expectation because it’s unrealistic.
If any of the three HS prospects committed to Tennessee had done so with another program, then and only then would those folks be on here talking about their abilities.
It’s clear as day that it’s an agenda.

Hurst announces 11/14 if I'm not mistaken. I know its this week sometime.
Edited: I think I was thinking of Lara Somfai who commited to standford today. If someone knows when Hurst is announcing please tell.

Hurst is a two-sport standout who was named the Player of the Year in Tennessee for volleyball for the second straight season in 2023-24. Don't be surprised to see Hurst attempt to play both sports, at least for a period of time during her career. She’s such a talented prospect that time becomes limited to get in the type of individual skill work that she’ll receive in college. When Hurst gets a chance to receive that on a daily basis, expect her game to take another step. Her talent, length, and upside all align with that happening sooner rather than later once she arrives on her future college campus. With the way the game is evolving, having Hurst as a fourth basketball handling option and perimeter defender makes a lot of sense.


Maybe she will choose us she has a lot of upside potential. Has a really nice perimeter shot.
