Yes Kim is closing these players. I just noticed they all mention him as a huge reason they are coming here.

Let the coaches recruit and players decide where they want to play.
Once they decide, we congratulate them either as LVs or wish them well.

I think the point they were trying to make is that no one player is bigger than the program. If we didn't get Civil, we could get someone similar in the portal or high school ranks.
No such player as a "must-get". If we miss that player, move on to the next one.
