I think the point they were trying to make is that no one player is bigger than the program. If we didn't get Civil, we could get someone similar in the portal or high school ranks.
No such player as a "must-get". If we miss that player, move on to the next one.

Civil is the player that stood out to me when I first watch clips of them so that’s a great get, as for Deniya I’ve seen some more clips and like what I see. I like how she’s cool under pressure, deadly in the mid range and a big time competitor, things I value in a prospect.

Lauren Hurst is committing Monday at 6. She cut her list to Tennessee, Clemson and NC State

Lauren Hurst is going to be the grand finale recruit according to my not so reliable sources. She will give this class the size it needs and will be the star player of the bunch just because she's local. I'm just speculating based upon the limited information I have, but we'll see.

Nah it’s up to the staff. The AD is obviously supportive and the NIL is there but people clearly believe in Kim.
