I’m not saying this staff hasn’t put in work. But I also wonder if the athletic dept doesn’t want to make this look like a bad hire. So I wonder ifour nil collective is pumping out larger funds to make these commits happen

Maybe. DW did say that the Lady Vols HAVE to get back to the top. And, that it's not really an option. I think he made a tough choice and is giving the program whatever it needs.

Lauren Hurst is going to be the grand finale recruit according to my not so reliable sources. She will give this class the size it needs and will be the star player of the bunch just because she's local. I'm just speculating based upon the limited information I have, but we'll see.

Just saw that Hurst is from Cleveland, Tennessee. Stone cold , imo

Of course AD wants to do everything he can to make the hire look good, which in turn helps the hire be good. I'd expect that fm my new boss. So not surprising they would help out where they can.

Hard to see how Hurst resists coming here now with the class the new staff has raked in. I guess volleyball could be the issue.
