I’m so excited, for the Pauldo twins in particular. They give me Lil Bit vibes. Bobbitt was one of the best PGs we ever had. Had all the attitude, wanted all the smoke and had a crossover that would drop a grown man.

Those young ladies are bringing that same energy for me. That’s championship energy.

I marveled at HW's continuing ability to recruit even in the worst of times. She recruited super elite (top 5?) Jordan Horston literally on her way out the door. A lovely parting gift for Kellie.

Future? I think LV basketball. Softball will be great until Weekly retires and then it will be a Pat situation. Hard to follow a legend.

I agree. One mitigating factor that might keep softball from dropping off too much is the fact that we now have an aggressive and competent athletic director. That's assuming White is still around when Weekly steps down.

Definitely some are better than players we have playing now. I think all five in the 11 player rotation depending on some unknown players from the portal taking a coupe of those spots.

I expect it to be 14 as we have to add a post player really need two strong inside players. Still more talented than this years team as the incoming are better than the outgoing.

Everyone saying LSU pulled back on Chavez and apparently flamed her for wanting $1 million in NIL. Don’t blame them.

Seems like she’s staying in Texas/Oklahoma area to me. Whoever wants to pay the price tag I guess. Doubt she’s worth it tbh.

I don’t think anything is guaranteed with as deep of a roster the LVs coaching staff have put together with elite recruiting for the upcoming season.
A staff that signed the best transfer portal in the SEC and the #1 high school class according to 247Sports understands how to build a roster.
They aren’t going to sign a player that can’t perform in this system just to add height.
I do believe they will add an outstanding transfer portal class in spring/summer 2025.

The posters that are watching Juju Watkins have some major struggles to live up to the hype in P4 basketball after a heavily publicized freshman campaign are putting unrealistic expectations on this high school player due to being ranked as the #1 player are doing everyone involved a disservice.

Right now, all the talk on this topic in threads is spam.
I don’t understand it all. And if a team agrees to a $1 million NIL deal it’ll certainly be a setback for that program.
