Love the Keys and wish Baby Key the best (except against us) but in no way shape or form is Nyla Brooks Teoni Key. Esp after all Teoni's injuries. Complete different level of player. Nyla will not be bench fodder, at least not for long.

No player in the banghart era at UNC has went on to have any type of positive professional career. That should stick out to these recruits , but she has more experience than CKC so it makes sense.

Apparently TN is recruiting well enough to be finalists for multiple top 2025s - who have gone on record and said they regularly talk to CKC and staff.

He also didn’t mention how many times Nyla spoke with other staff members (Gabe, Roman, etc)

If Nyla really wanted to be at TN, she would be at TN. Period. CKC is not about to beg.

Yep. This is the same dude that tweeted “stand on business” when Nyla’s October visit was confirmed. Which shows they were invested enough in the recruiting process. While it’s on CKC and staff to initiate contact, communication is also a two-way street.

Also looks like they burned a bridge with this tweet. CKC probably won’t come calling if Nyla enters the portal.

Really don’t think this staff was interested. We’ve already seen a massive uptick in interest with other players in the same class who fit the system better.

She’s more of a slasher and based on everything we’ve see it’s clear the 3 is going to be option 1. We aren’t going to be running a ball screen offense for a player to get to the rim. Wrong fit all around.

I like coach. But the idea 77 can be better than 15 the vast majority of times doesn’t work at the elite P5 level. Your ceiling is too low.

It is weird if she only reached out to NB twice in two months. Must have meant we weren’t ok with NIL or had big reservations.

How much attention do recruits need? It would've been better if she called her every day, every other day?

You know the other coaches contacted her...how often, who knows? How well can you get to know someone with a few more calls? She decided not to go on her Official which would've given her a better idea about the new staff. She probably checked out when they let Kellie go.

She chose NC. Let's move on.

That's just to give fans some reassurance. It helps she chose previous SEC coaches considering they've kept up with their and other SEC schools recruiting, the AAU circuit, and how other SEC schools recruit.

If a kid likes attention, they need to let it be known. Sounds kinda high maintenance to me.
