2025 Target List

Interesting no mention of Ament. I'm guessing that's more because he's so far away from decision. I wonder if NIL wise is there enough money for two 5 star top 10 players especially when I'm sure vols will be heavily pursuing a new starting PG in the spring and have to pay all of the current sophomores.

Trilly discord chatter. Some Houston members have felt good for weeks and apparently they were going to get Koa Peat until the LSU/Cenac visit went poorly. That put Peat on the back burner for them and they're prioritizing Cenac now
I know sometimes Trilly info comes here, are people who post on the discord just normal posters or actual insiders?

Mostly normal posters but there are definitely a few connected sources from different schools plus Trilly himself. It's pretty interesting to get a view on things in there from the different school perspectives.

Trilly mentioned it was starting to look like it was heading Houston's way for Cenac yesterday based on recent info, but nothing definitive

Rod Clark has had a history of retweeting players that we end up in on in the portal. He retweeted stuff about Lanier last year during the season and then he ends up here. Well, he just retweeted something about Adam “Bud” Clark from Merrimack. He’s a 5’10” scoring guard with a good mid range game and a lot of speed. Idk if there’s any relation between the two of the either, so that may be a factor as well. Anyways here’s a link to the tweet that Rod Clark retweeted. He’s had a solid start to the year.

Got to see him play a few times when he was at West Catholic, really undisciplined team but he was a bright spot. If he’s 5’10 he’s grown since high school lol. Saw him go up against Josh Hubbard (Miss State) when they were both seniors and he went toe to toe with him.

I will be disappointed if we land someone other than that Money kid at the PG position.

I don’t think Clark ever retweeted Lanier during his season from what I recall…with that said, yes Rod and Bud are related.

On the recruiting front Tennessee—and a lot of other big-time programs—is simply in wait-and-see mode while a handful of five-star prospects mull over their college destinations.

Tennessee is still in contention for five-stars Nate Ament, Caleb Wilson and Chris Cenac, all of whom made official visits this fall.

The Vols are still in pursuit of five-star California prospect Brayden Burries who has yet to make a visit. Tennessee is in talks to get Burries on campus for an official visit.

Barring a real change Ament is for sure waiting until the spring to make a decision, his long stated goal.
Wilson and Cenac could conceivably make a decision at any time.

Each of that trio of five-stars’ camps has heard from the Tennessee side in the last week and the Vols remain in contention.

It doesn’t necessarily feel like Tennessee is the team to beat for anyone of the three at this point, though in this current climate of recruiting things can change quickly.
