Like his game more, but I’d be fine with either in this scenario.

Not sure how anyone could say Clark, Gillespie has him beat in just about every statistical category and did it at an absolutely much higher level.

I know it will never happen but Donovan Dent would be an amazing fit for us. 20 PPG and will be a senior next year. Excellent facilitator and can score at all levels

I would say the asking price is astronomical for him really

I’d cheer like a banshee if we pulled Gillespie. Definitely don’t get me wrong.

There's so many big names in the portal, I dont care if we don't go after a specific player or not. Some of these guys have like 20 schools that they are interested in, hard pass.

Give me someone that's reliable and won't waste our time for 3 months

Just read 700 players entered the portal yesterday.

2023 had 175. Last year nearly 300.

Things are changing that's for sure.

I know we’re keeping it to people Tennessee has shown interest in but Elliot Cadeau just entered and we need a ready to play PG.

He's one I mentioned as a possibility a month ago, or so, when it looked like Davis was gonna get canned. We were in deep with Cadeau early on. Then Davis got extended so I wasn't sure who would leave, but we make a lot of sense for him. I'd guess he will be highly coveteded, though, and Tennessee is going to get negative recruited hard with the Barnes retirement noise.
