How is it possible that all of these guys end up at at p5 schools? There's so many good players in th portal this year

Supposedly Gainey is the superior scout on staff

I was at a local park last spring when Gainey was there. He was on the phone,breaking down a prospect. His youngest son was playing and he's just giving this detailed summary of a player. He gets off phone and a couple older people come up to thank him for the great season that had ended a couple weeks earlier, he he tells them he was just on the phone with Coach Barnes. I've always been so curious about the player he was talking about. Haha. Anyway, nicest guy. Talked to everyone who came up to him, asked them about themselves, etc. Just a down to earth guy.


I bet Steven Pearl takes his dog to parks and let's him poop everywhere without cleaning up after him. He's Steven F'n Pearl after all.

I thought it was as long as they enter by April 22

Don’t think most kids will need an extra 5 days. The portal for football just falls on ****** dates.

No, the portal extends well past the championship so it’s not needed like it is in football

Louisville's Koren Johnson entered the portal on Monday. Played two years at Washington and was 2024 Pac 12 sixth man of the year. Suffered a season ending injury in practice right after we beat them in early November. Might be worth a look.
