Second best offense in the Barnes era was this year. It was actually a top 10 offense start of February 1st. Tennessee had a pretty good offense this year. Just missed one thing. Low post scoring. Not having Estrella changed the ceiling of this team

I had to look him up, but you never know. I had to look up what Milos Uzan did at OU. Maybe I missed it, but his stats didn’t say “world beater.” He was solid for Houston this year. Guys get different coaching and take on a new role and sometimes thrive more. I also like taking a few transfers from P5 schools.

He would be a solid bench piece, but he's certainly not a starter. Pretty good defender, but not a great shooter. He didn't even start for UCLA this year.

Taking players from non power 4 schools in the portal is such a crap shoot. You have guys like Sears, Clayton jr and Broome who become all Americans and then you have guys Darlinstone who looked liked he didn't belong at all besides a few moments.

Yeah, I guess the staff thinks they have the keys to unlock him, but man...I'd probably feel better about it if he hadn't already played two years and statistically regressed in year 2. If we took him following his freshman year at UCLA, he'd have looked more attractive. I just worry about needing time to adjust to a new system.

Could always be him or an agent trying to increase the value.

What the Vols need is to open up the NIL budget and bring him some quality transfers, we have brought in one quality transfer each of the last 2 years, let Barnes go out and win it all after giving him 3-4 dynamic transfers.

Uzan regressed at OU at least in shooting. Went from 40% from 3 in his freshman year to under 30% in year 2. Back to 45% at Houston. Now, I know Mack doesn’t even have those numbers, but I’m sure they t looking at a bunch of options.

I'm still having a hard time thinking about next year. Every season is so long and we all talk about the goal, and the last couple years it is within reach, seemingly, and then it's all over. Takes me a few days to think too much about starting again. I take this stuff way too hard. Maybe not as rough as last year's because there was a good bit in the second half last year it was looking good, and it never looked good today. I just hope we get guys that buy in like these guys did,and that stick around a while (if they have multiple years of eligibility).
