Business wise I wouldn’t give her a scholarship, I would want someone better. But the moral part of me wouldn’t want to push her out on her last year, so she can graduate a LadyVol.

Agree she has a year or eligibility left as a non graduate and we should honor it. If she had graduated I could see not letting her be on the team next season.

I don't know if you can take anyones word on anything or things they say or say they know. Having put that opening sentence in a person says that the core group is not leaving. I consider Boyd in the core group. They say a player is leaving so who it is no one is telling or like most of us or all of us does not know.

I could see either of the other two. Strickland especially, she’s going to get recruited over so it’s definitely her time to decide if she wants to play or be a good leader/cheerleader at her hometown school.

If nothing has changed Strickland is dating Hurst’s brother who is on the men’s team I believe? Figured she might like to play with Lauren.

I feel like Wells or Darby going to a mid-major is most likely.

I remember Wells at Belmont, and she played well vs the Vols and portaled to UT. I think she may be the one that would go to Miz since Kellie was coach in her initial portal destination. Just a guess.

I would think the coaches will wait and see who they can get before anyone is ask to look for another place to go. Men's team usually finds a placement for players football also. This is a young coaching staff I'm not sure they have enough connections. But you have to run it like a business if you're going to compete for championships. It's a tuff decision sometimes but you have to do what's best for your team. Fans usually get emotional invested with all players wearing the Orange and White probably a little summit blue. The ones that may or may not move on we wish the best for them.

She might leave. But I cannot imagine there is a program “that suits her style a bit better”. Pressuring full court and running is her game and she is a modestly improved 3 point game from being terrific in this system. She was getting more minutes late in the year and probably deserved more Darby and Spear minutes.

Only thing keeping her off the floor for 20+ minutes is her shooting. If she improves that she’s a gamer.

My concern with her is that she could foresee ending up down the depth chart especially if we take an experienced PG from the portal.

Do not want her going anywhere, just logically makes the most sense to me because if she doesn’t improve from three she’s the most likely to lose minutes at the guard spot next year.
