Also I forget, but Prince can actually return for TCU and probably will. Doesn’t have anything else going for her. Her draft stock is meh, teams are cool on her due to her abuse allegations and trouble against anyone else with size.

She creamed all the crappy Big-12 teams with no size this year. That ended up being a very mid league outside of KSTATE and TCU. OU and Texas leaving made that a much easier conference.

Just saw this on the interwebs, and the person who posted it says "someone who reports news on Tennessee sports" says she may be coming to Knoxville but that no sources have been confirmed yet.

A commenter on that post said they'd read she came to Knoxville on a visit yesterday. I have no idea if any of this is true.

Would be glad to have her but doesn’t excite me much. Only became a really good shooter this season and sometimes that doesn’t last. Prior to this year she was around 35% from three.

Not a great rebounder and not much of a passer so she really only adds a possible good shooter. Would like to see us add more dynamic talent.

Boston College coach seems to really develop players well but then can’t seem to keep them. Has players who went from nobody to somebody and then transfer every year. Has to be annoying for her.

She visited yesterday and we supposedly had someone visit before her but no one can give a name. Also someone is leaving the team but they say it is not from the core group. Assistants are working hard to make us better I think it is going to happen.

Makes me think we can't get Garzon or Kneepkens who are both better options. Latson probably priced herself away from Tennessee will be interesting to see where she lands. Like to get one of the post players just need one that can help us in there was a big problem in some games this season.

Same, would much rather have either of the other two mentioned. They have a more well rounded game, more size physicality than Todd.

I just can’t get too invested in these players yet, I just don’t know who will want to be subbed out every minute.

She's a around 90% FT which was the one thing that I was never confident when Spencer got to the line and just grabbed it and shot immediately. Spencer was a real good PG but her FTs gave me pause.

Yeah her FT shooting hurt in the Texas game. She was getting to the line but just had such a mental block about FTs. After a whole season of catch and shoot she changed her routine in the LAST game and started dribbling. Gotta have guards who can score off the bounce and hit FTs.

I do not think Wynn goes anywhere. She’s invested in this team and Coach Kim. Looked like she had a wonderful year.

I could see either of the other two. Strickland especially, she’s going to get recruited over so it’s definitely her time to decide if she wants to play or be a good leader/cheerleader at her hometown school.

If nothing has changed Strickland is dating Hurst’s brother who is on the men’s team I believe? Figured she might like to play with Lauren.

I feel like Wells or Darby going to a mid-major is most likely.

So why are we the team that can be priced out of All-Americans, other teams can have 2 such players but we can’t pay 1?

Not yet, curious to see who she can pickup. Pingeton had no luck with the portal at Missouri. Took several girls the first year of the portal but none panned out really and most transferred again the next year. She’s always relied on recruiting the best player off of smaller 2A/3A teams there in the mid-west and mid-south.

Great point. I’m neutral until a player gets signed but I can’t understand how anyone is trying to pick apart this kids career stats and ability. A three year double figure scorer that shoots that well and was a team leader coming from the ACC is a take for a contending team as a shooting specialist.
This ain’t about not getting better options or players they wanted, it’s about making the team better.
Todd is as good a fit or shooter as any player in the portal.
Reminds me of Powe who is a 3pt specialist at MSST.
With Tennessee strength and conditioning program this staff can get her stronger and build that core to compete against SEC teams.
I’m glad Coach Caldwell, Coach Lazo, and Coach Tubner are building this team and not waiting for approval of who to sign based on responses from the pocket of fans that are self appointed GMs.

Who is we? I guess this is a fantasy you are immerse in to actually believe this roster at Tennessee is lacking the talent you believe only you are capable of measuring. An All-American title in college means absolutely nothing. If any All-American for instance (I’m not even referring to those in the portal) can’t get a college team to the NCAA tournament or past the 2nd round then you really believe a program is going to give them money they don’t deserve? You have former and current All-Americans that can’t even make it through a professional training camp. You have players across all sports that don’t get drafted and receive a tryout invite as their only option. Some of these players make the roster of a team and end up having Hall of Fame careers.
And then there’s this👇… three incoming HS All-Americans that have been the headline of the McDAAG practices and scrimmages which completely defies and contradicts every single post you make related to your very own reasoning. We already had three former former HS All-Americans this season in Hollingshead, Whitehorn, and Cooper with the last two returning.
Every returning player from Tennessee got better this season with the exception of a few.
You don’t know how these players will perform this upcoming season or the accolades they could receive after having a great season in the 1st year under Coach Caldwell.

Does Destiny have any eligibility left? I think Favor is done as well. If so, that kind of points to Strickland perhaps rejoining Kellie. I would be surprised if Wynn transferred but she is a Kellie recruit and might see herself as having a bigger at Missouri.
