2028, who ya got?

He strikes me as more of a young McConnell. No real convictions or beliefs beyond “I want power.”
I hope you and Hog are both wrong about Vance. Cause he could be a strong contender. And he's still young, but I would say Clinton and Reagan were the only two beyond him in oration abilities. And he will get better.

More predictions.

I admire your ability to shed your previous wrong prediction like a snake shedding its skin.
Based on the final electoral count path we are on right now I think all the left leaning prognosticators need to take their “this is going to be close election” to “this is easily a solid win for Harris” predictions and go sit in the damn corner. This is shaping up to be a blowout.

Vegas odds have tracked this for weeks now. For a little over a month we’ve been in the 55/45 to 60/40 Trump. And they are now 11 of the last 12 in picking presidential elections.

Its going to be a Vance vs Desantis battle for the GOP. Dems could get Shapiro who would be formidable but not entirely sure America is ready for a Jewish president.

If Trump term is mildly successful or better on economy/immigration/crime then it's Vances. If term implodes it's open and usual names emerge.

Harris is toast. Dems will be in feeding frenzy and it totally depends on whether or not they learned anything from this drubbing.

I'm assuming we'll end up with extremists on both sides who just yell at each other and I'll be voting L again.
If the Trump term is viewed even remotely close to a positive JD Vance will be the man to beat. I have seen a couple of thoughts of Vance/Gabbard which I believe would be a very strong broad based ticket.

The question for the Dems can they actually bring it to themselves to not trot out the craziest they can find in their party. Their dedication to far left candidates are going to continue to get them in trouble in general elections because they are so out of touch with normal Americans.

The dems also need to find someone who is on JD's level which I believe there is not a single person in that party right that could go toe to toe with him in a debate. Shapiro is probably the only one who is even remotely close.

I don't believe we will ever see Kamala Harris again in politics outside of California. The lady is a walking political disaster area who has done nothing but fail upward.

The Dems got exactly what they deserved for the un-democratic coup that they pulled on Biden and supplanting him with incompetence. The problem with the Democratic party is I wouldn't have too much faith that they will learn form this mistake.

That is no disqualifier, but ok. If it were Rubio, who would you suggest he consider for VP? Don't think of what you want -- think of what rounds out and advantages his ticket.

Rubio has absolutely no chance to win the primary unless Vance and Desantis kill each other.

Dems better find a way and a candidate to get them back toward the center, yesterday. Nothing moderate about their policy and platforms. Dems have been owned by the hard left of Antifa/BLM/LGBTQ and the pro Hamas wing nuts more so than the Republican Party has been influenced by their fringe groups that attach themselves to the GOP. A 1992 Bill Clinton would be far too conservative for the Democratic Party today. Bershear might be a good starting point.

Lol the anti-semitic Democratic party is not going to go with a Jew. They made that loud and clear when they pivoted from him for VP.

I have this feeling Rubio might be in line for a Cabinet position. He gets appointed by Trump, DeSantis is Governor and appoints the replacement. Florida is reliably red and whomever goes up in 26 has a huge advantage.

I still think this is one of the reasons Rand Paul hasn't been brought on since Beshear would name a (D) replacement.

The wheels I assure you are already spinning. Guys like Rubio in the GOP, Whitmer for the Dems, they are all already organizing teams, discussing polling results and how to adapt to them, and thinking about fundraising. Rubio has to be the odds on favorite for the GOP. Who else you got?

And for the Dems, Whitmer seems like a promising front runner since she can motivate women to vote and is from the midwest. Hard to see a nominee that reflects the social values get it, given last night. So does not auger well for Newsome. Who you got?

And remember, Trump is a lame duck even before taking office. He will need to get done whatever he wants to get done in the first 3-4 months because after that people will be jockeying for position within his own party to own whatever is going well, and distance themselves from any trouble spots.

Yeah, video of Whitmer placing "communion Doritos" on a kneeling chick's tongue is really going to appeal to the Hispanic voters who blitzed Harris's chances.

Why would USA not be ready for Jewish President?

To me, he is a great option to win moderates but that Pro-Palestinian faction on the left would give him fits.
