Does either team truly want to win this ugly game. Nobody has taken advantage.

Spoke too soon.

Florida has plenty of talent and they are playing hard…guess I’d rather them win since it helps our strength of schedule

Am I missing a joke here? LSU did not beat Texas A&M this year.
Not completely sure, but I’m going to guess and admit to probably embarrassingly butchering enough what I was typing in such a hurry that my autocorrect took over? Regardless, I admit what I typed in the post is wrong and I'll amend that initial post.

Gators beating #22 LSU help us?
Not really? It doesn't hurt UT either, but at 5-5 with 2 games left (and 1 against 1-win FSU), UF was never going to end up looking like a better/grood win to the committee with their record...though they are in running for UT's 3rd strongest opponent - tied with NC State and OU - following Alabama and UGA.

Our Florida win should look like a better victory than Bama’s LSU win after this game, but it won’t according to the committee for reasons.

It reduces the pool of SEC teams that could have 2 losses in the conference and influences the tie breaker process. So it is good for us.

Yep, that’s why we needed Florida to win. I see LSU dropping another game after this one tbh.
