'22 SC SF Julian Phillips (Tennessee commit)

QFP

I’m sure this will be rigorously debated at some point

Given that it appears about half of those kids listed are still in high school, I would imagine getting more than the #1 pick correct would be tough. And most years, even getting the #1 pick this early is still too unpredictable. I know basketball is different (young man's game), but could you imagine being a junior or senior in high school and having people predict what company, at what position, and in what order of priority you would go to in your career?

Yeah a 6'7 PG doesn't give me good feels.

6'7 vs 5'7 :/ (this is a terrible joke guys, I know he is 5'9 lmaoo)
Why do you think ZZ would guard him? Whether or not you are joking your basketball IQ is very limited.

Also Arkansas has been living off of transfers for the longest it will be interesting to see what mussleman can do with freshman. There almost always is a learning curve involved with young players but you guys can continue to anoint them in this thread it’s hilarious you guys continue to flop over them, there is an Arkansas board just waiting for you somewhere

Thank you for telling me something I already knew. Didn't really read the rest of your post. That's how much I cared.

His team, Link Academy, lost to Verde 60-49, but Phillips led Link with 16 and 8. Arkansas signee Jordan Walsh disappeared for Link, as he was held to just 4 points

So what is the % we land Phillips?
What about another 2023, or via portal, elite point guard?

We need an athletic big man who can move within the paint and finish @ the rim. Plus another point guard, slasher type of a player.

I’ve seen a list of names but clueless of our chances to land a few more players to impact next season’s team.
Thanks!

Dont forget about Auburn. They havent bought their roster yet

I read where Sears the guard from Ohio is looking to transfer closer to home. He is from Alabama. I can see Auburn landing him due to the guards Alabama has coming in. I would pick Arkansas to win the SEC. I just don't see how Musselman is going to keep everyone happy on that roster. He's bringing in 6 players and don't really lose anyone. Kentucky is loosing the fear they use to put in the rest of the SEC. The SEC has upgraded the past few years in coaching and talent through out the league. No one is scared of Kentucky anymore, SEC schools now have the players to match up with them. I can see the SEC preseason ranked 1-4 as Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn. Auburn may surprise teams again. Chance Westry is going to be really good for them and Tre Donaldson is no scrub as he proved himself last AAU season against top rated recruits. The SEC will be tough again next season.

I think the SEC will be extremely top heavy next season. 1-5 will be a battle but after that I see a significant drop off
