I feel like this is a dumb argument. So he moved up from 7-9 pre-season to top 3? That’s not that big of a jump. Whose to say if that was because of Bruce or just because he was already underrated.

Again, the argument was how much of an impact Bruce had on his recruitment, and IMO any player that is being mocked from 6-9 in the pre-season and jumps to #1 ain’t THAT surprising and it’s hard to tell if any of that was due to Bruce or just the extra exposure the college game gives to all players.

It’s not like the dude jumped from fringe first round pick to the Top 10. He was always on everyone’s radar before the season even started.

He’s projected higher than Chandler so maybe there’s still a glimmer of hope we might get Chandler back!

The Vols are ‘all in’ on 2022 five-star Julian Phillips. Since de-committing from LSU Phillips has become one of the hottest commodities on the market. While there have been no shortage of suitors trying to get in the mix with Phillips it sounds like this is coming down to Tennessee, Florida State and USC, the three other schools he officially visited prior to committing to LSU. Tennessee is deep into this one but landing him is no guarantee. Phillips is taking part in the Geico High School National Championships this week. He hasn’t given any interviews since his de-commitment but we believe that a decision is coming sooner rather than later, perhaps by next week.
