Sounds like he doesn't really know what he wants. Wonder if the longer it goes the more consideration is given to G LeagueThis kid loves the drama it seems. May schedule another visit, may drop a final list of teams instead of just picking one, and he’s just been all over the map with his top teams. Truly I do not know what to expect here.
What these kids say in an interview is rarely what’s going on. He committed to a criminal the first time based on an emotional connection. I’m sure he’s a lot more cautious now. I’ll repeat what I said before: Both his parents like Barnes. They told him they’d like to be at UT if they could meet the NIL deal that USC met. I think we’ll hear in the next ten days. I’d say sooner, but the Ignite invite is a weird curveball. The only new information I have is that the coaches are MORE optimistic after his Auburn visit. Of course they could be wrong, but I think they’re encouraged that he didn’t melt and sign this morning.Sounds like he doesn't really know what he wants. Let’s start our own… can Phillips be a point forward for us? LolI need Julian Phillips to commit to us just so I can spend an entire weekend laughing at all of Auburn Twitter who are so convinced he is coming there that they are already discussing how high the ceiling for their team is next year and whether Phillips can be a point forward for them.
I'd have to think that Phillips will get all the minutes he wants if he's the player everyone says he is. Who's gonna keep him off the floor? Kid would likely be the best player on the roster next season.Phillips isn’t just going to the highest bidder.
He’s going where he can play minutes.
He wants to be 1 and done.
I highly doubt we guarantee minutes.
I highly suspect Auburn guarantees minutes.
