@TrippieRedd is cursed lol, needs to stop saying “Vol”.
TrippieRedd’s brother is cursed*** helped ya out.

I get it though.

Edit: Actually, BJ said he was coming here. My brother texted me that. Neither one of us said he was coming here. I said Vol, because that’s what BJ told my brother after the Ole Miss game. So of course, I’m going to bring it here, even if down the road it ends up changing.

It’s tiring having to explain myself because a recruit goes on another visit, and likes it more. Not my responsibility to recruit these dudes. I just pass along what he tells me. Some of it ends up being right, some doesn’t, I guess that’s called recruiting?

Dang. Thought for sure an in state guy would want to come to UT. Didn't someone say his girlfriend goes to UT or was that just chatter from the Mitchell thread? In this recent visits, these prospects visit campus and then decide to go elsewhere.

So, we're only going to land BJ in this class before early signing day....that's disappointing.

Also, what the hell FSU. They just landed a 4-star PG on Monday after telling Chandler Jackson they weren't going to recruit any other PG's. FSU about to pick up their 5th (!!!) commitment. They picked up 4 players last year. They must have a ton of upperclassmen on that team.

Something shady going on at FSU.

Pretty obvious. Lol

I don't think that's the case. Let's not do that just because we're losing to them.

None of the players in their class are the "cream of the crop" style recruits. They didn't land Phillips or Mitchell. It's mostly solid 4-stars and some unranked prospects. We just lost. We have to do better.

I’m not as panicked as I would be if we didn’t take so many freshman last year
Yeah, the only saving grace for me is that Zakai Ziegler, Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, and Handje Tamba all reclassified, and would otherwise be part of this class to go with BJ Edwards.

So, the silver lining, assuming all return for their sophomore years, then the class consists of a 5* PF, a 4* PG, a 3* PG, and a 3* Center, three of which got a head start on their careers.

That honestly is something I haven't considered and is a very good point

How does FSU have room? Between the 4 this year and taking 4 high schoolers and 2 transfers last year, that’s already 10 in two classes.

Just preparing myself…

1. We were late to the party.
2. We don’t have any open spots.
3. We are deep at guard.
4. It’s only October 27th.
We were late to the party, that’s a fact…but I doubt it cost us Jackson. Who knows the true reasoning, but sure would’ve been nice to add him, think he’ll be a really good college player.

FSU offered the bigger bag…
Why do schools have to offer bags any more? All they (Tennessee I'm looking at you) is arrange for a car dealership to sign an appearance deal with a kid, then provide the vehicle of their choice as compensation. Other businesses can do similar deals. It ain't rocket science.
