It is cute that you think you have a team in Chattanooga, but 5-2 in the FCS means the only team you'd have beaten on the UT schedule is in Martin. This is the SEC, not Furman.

Hilarious. I've lived in both Knoxville and Chattanooga pretty much equally through out my life - and I'd rather live in Chattanooga every season but the fall - for football obviously.

Knoxville is not that great of a city - it'd be a dump without the university. Atleast Chattanooga has a nice downtown.

That just goes to show how bad your frames of reference are. Nothing you said makes Chattanooga, specifically the campus area, any less of a flaming heap of crap.

I couldn't care less about the campus or UTC - that's quite an ignorant statement when your only argument was their campus is weird and it's next to the ghetto. Yeah - that really makes the city a ****hole :crazy:

All Knoxville has is UT - sorry - but it's true. I'd rather live in Chattanooga any day and I love Knoxville. Way more scenic and more to do on a regular basis - its different in the Fall or if you're college age and enjoy hitting up the bars in Knoxville - which is an obvious edge in Knoxville's favor.

I hope you feel pretty confident that Tennessee beats Ole Miss. They got knocked off by a team from the OVC...

Top-tier FCS teams can compete with a lot of mid-major teams and the lower level BCS teams. They won't win them all, but they'll win their fair share.

Would whoever said Tennessee would win by 40+ be willing to bet on the UT - Montana game next year with a 40 point spread?

Posts like yours are why UTC fans/BJ lovers are such a joke. Just like many residents of Chattanooga do on these forums to anyone who will listen, you jump and you scream "Hey, we're better than you!" and no one cares because it is so obvious that it isn't true. UT is 2-5. The losses are to teams that would make UTC literally cry. Ole Miss against JSU at a point when they had Masoli for a few days is not a valid comparison for, well, anything... JSU's win against that team at that time is as relevant to UTC's performance as the success of the moon landings. You are at a lower level of football on the outskirts of the top 25 and even this UT team would destroy you. Accept what you are and you'll be much happier.

But, let's play this little hypothetical game you started where you can apply random scores to whatever the hell you want. JSU beat Ole Miss, sure, but they also beat UTC and UT-Martin and they are also undefeated. They only beat UT-Martin by 10 points and UT beat them by 50. JSU beat UTC by 4. That makes you 6 points better than Martin if a JSU win against Ole Miss means that a UT loss to Ole Miss proves that UTC even belongs on the same field as UT. Confusing? That is your exact logic. It makes no sense. Have fun playing Auburn. Using JSU to show what UTC could do is as logical as using an Oregon or Alabama win as an example of what UT could do. 2 + 2 = 78. Obviously.

And then there is a simple but perfect response like that. I hope UT fans don't get this crazy and think we are joining the NFL or even the UFL when we are finally ranked #24 and beat a #25 with a late comeback and a QB that throws four interceptions.

I booked tickets to the Super Bowl hoping UT would play the Colts after we almost beat Alabama last year.

I really don't understand why everyone can't pull for UT and UTC it is a completely different level of football. I personally root for UT, MTSU, and UTC, its not like that they are a rival in anyway or even recruit the same class of athlete. I don't know if UTC is a championship contender or not, but their only two losses came from two of the top two fcs teams and both took fourth quarter comebacks. Just in case you didn't know when you get a diploma from UTC it says The University of Tennessee with no mention of Chattanooga and you are entitled to all of the UT Alumni Association benefits.

So BJ is a little girl? I'd say that's a solid assessment.

Of course in this situation the ex bf told the girl she could stick around and they could have some fun but he wanted to look around, not commit and the girl ended up being crazy and in hindsight not nearly as attractive as the ex bf once thought she was but was fun while she was around. Now the ex bf just laughs at her continually when her current bf tries to make everyone think she's special when's she's really not that special.
