That being said, you were the first person to bring up BJ Coleman.

UTC football fans have not had anything to be proud of in years, I don't see why it should be a big deal if they post a score in the NCAA forum.

just wait...UT will start winning again one of these years. then ALL the Vol fans will come out and say..." I TOLD YOU SO....LOOK AT US!!!!"
:good!:

you better hope so since it makes "your" Broncos look better. Too bad it won't hurt them when JMU doesn't even make the FCS playoffs

hope so what? VT is undefeated in the ACC...you know they will win the ACC and go to a BCS bowl. hell the WAC and the MAC is tougher than the ACC and Big East this year. The fooball gods are smiting the BCS this year..just watch. it's going to come down to 2 undefeated NON BCS schools and maybe a couple of 1 loss BSC schools. Then all crap will hit the fan.

BJ absolutely does not have a stronger arm than Simms. Simms has shown toughness in the face of tremendous adversity. BJ Coleman left and then publicly criticized the program. He's right where he belongs. Nowhere.

Yes he does. Despite that you heard Matt Simms "had the 2nd stronest arm" in a qb camp that featured such incredible arms as Boise State and Texas Tech's Qbs? But forget that. What exactly has matt simms done. Hes made a handful of Ok plays after which he acted as if he is the best QB in the country. Now he says "I dont deserve to lose playing time" So basically he thinks he is playing well.

CJ Boleman is a cry baby and a quitter. He quit on his teammates and on this university. I'll take Simms any day of the week.

I'm sorry. If you don't think Simms has a stronger arm than Coleman, you don't need to discuss QBs. Simms has a good arm. Coleman has a noodle. That's just how it is. I'm not even saying that necessarily means Simms is better, but he absolutely has the stronger arm.

That camp included Andrew Luck, Christian Ponder, Case Keenum, Jordan Jefferson, and TJ Yates.

It is way to early for me to attempt to negotiate the stupidity to which you just responded. Kudos sir.

And none of them have a strong arm except for luck. So because one guy said he was 2nd best you jump all over it and act as if simms has a great arm. Well unfortunately I have watched them all play this year including coleman and he has a stronger arm than Simms. No doubt about it.

Actually I didn't have any problem with UTC and generally wanted them to do well until the fans started going on and on about their incredibleness, specifically the former UT 3rd stringer.

That said, they better hope to God they play Auburn within 35 if they plan on getting an at-large birth to the playoffs.

Quite possibly the dumbest thing I have read in a long time. The Barn game will have absolutely no bearing on what happens to UTC, concerning FCS playoffs.

They could lose that game by 80 (which is what could very well happen) and finish second or even third in the conference and earn a bid.

A paid game loss is rather insignificant to an FCS team.

Sorry for the bolded part, its no longer true. I just read through the thread entitled "saban takes a swipe at Kiffin and Fulmer"...

No he doesn't, aside from being a whiny little bastard, the biggest problem with Coleman was always arm strength.

Having the 2nd strongest arm behind Andrew Luck at a camp isn't exactly a bad thing.

Also, in what world does Christian Ponder not have a strong arm?

How about Jefferson. Jefferson might miss a steel door 3 out of 4 times, but he could throw it through it that 1 out of 4.

Coleman's arm probably does look strong against the speed of the competition at the FCS level. Stop the BS please.

What are you talking about? Are you talking about throwing the ball way too hard and over the head of a reciever 5 yds away? In that case ill give simms the nod.

Haha Ohhhh Nooga.

The biggest little city in the World!

You do realize that probably 95% of chattanoogans couldn't care less about utc athletics right? Everyone here is fairly normal with a spread of tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia fans.

You do realize that knoxville is barely larger than chattanooga right? Take away UTK and UTC and chattanooga is easily larger. Add the surrounding areas and chattanooga is larger by a 2-1 margin.

Sure it isn't. From somebody who professes to watch so many games, you sure have managed to miss Florida St. games.

Further, if you really think that BJ Coleman's arm strength is anything but average, you should probably look into one of those clue thingies.

Who said it was. Matt simms' arm strength is nothing but below average. Christian ponder's is average at best. And everyone knows this.
