Per Wes Ruckers twitter:

A final stat for the day: The Vols are in 89th in the latest Sagarin ratings of all DI teams. FCS UT-Chattanooga is 93rd.

The funny thing is most of the Chattanooga fans are also big tennessee fans. These rejects that are on here bashing Chatt do the same thing to tennessee. They are haters regardless.

I really don't understand why everyone can't pull for UT and UTC it is a completely different level of football.

which many can't understand. Hey I have season tickets to watch an FCS team play and enjoy it. The difference is some UTC fans want to claim they would be able to compete with UT and that BJ would be starting for the Vols based on his performance at a lower level. Neither one is true and I wish people would realize that and enjoy FCS football for what it is

Actually I didn't have any problem with UTC and generally wanted them to do well until the fans started going on and on about their incredibleness, specifically the former UT 3rd stringer.

That said, they better hope to God they play Auburn within 35 if they plan on getting an at-large birth to the playoffs.

That doesn't matter...VT is going to end up going to a BCS bowl even after a loss to James Madison.
A loss to a FBS school isn't going to hamper UTC..hell Appy ST. still has to play Florida...do you think that is going to hurt them and their playoff run?

I have no doubt B.J. would be starting for the Vols. sometimes it is better for a QB to play at a smaller school...
Joe Flacco come to mind..even if he did transfer twice.
and Steve McNair did pretty good to come from a Div 2 school.

No, BJ would be starting for UT because, he has a stronger arm than matt simms, is more accurate than matt simms, is smarter than matt simms, and is a better leader than matt simms. Tennessee is obviously a better team than chattannoga but they are not at the QB position.

You dont even know what you are talking about, the auburn game means absolutely nothing. If they win the rest of their games outside of the Auburn game, they are an absolute lock for the playoffs.Even if they lose to auburn and Wofford, they would still have a decent shot. 20 teams are making the playoffs. A 1 point loss to number 1, a 4 point loss to number 2, and a loss to the number 1 team in FBS would make for a playoff lock.

If Matt Simms is better than Nick Stephens, and Nick Stephens is better than BJ Coleman, then Matt Simms is better than BJ Coleman.

you better hope so since it makes "your" Broncos look better. Too bad it won't hurt them when JMU doesn't even make the FCS playoffs

You know that guy who's girlfriend dumps him for a less popular guy? And he never gets over it, just bad mouths the girl and the new guy every chance he gets? Any thread that mentions Chattanooga is their chance. :)

GO MOCS!!!!!! GO VOLS!!!!!!

Noogans appear to be an insecure group. After every Moc victory you can count on a Noogan starting a thread – “Look at me!, Look at me!!, Look at Us!, Look at US!!... The Mocs Won!!!”. these post/threads elicit predicatble responses.

Which is it; you want the attention (positive and the inevitable negative) or you don’t?

What does posting a chattanooga score in the NCAA thread have to do with being insecure?

You, and your fellow Noogans, knew exactly the direction the thread would go. You got what you wanted and your fellow Noogans came out of the woodwork to complain about it.

So you cried because I posted a thread about chattanooga, but we are insecure?

That being said, you were the first person to bring up BJ Coleman.

UTC football fans have not had anything to be proud of in years, I don't see why it should be a big deal if they post a score in the NCAA forum.

BJ absolutely does not have a stronger arm than Simms. Simms has shown toughness in the face of tremendous adversity. BJ Coleman left and then publicly criticized the program. He's right where he belongs. Nowhere.
