I'd rather wait in the grocery line because someone had too many items than be behind a "professional lottery player" at the counter when I just want to pay for $40 of gasoline.

How is that taking advantage of her? This is helping her out. She was in the line with an illegal amount of goods. Removing them quickly would make her legal, thus helping her avoid fines or perhaps prison time. She would thank me afterwards, so I would make sure the stuff she had left was up to the task of thanking me properly, like cake mix and a box of condoms.

This is the truth. I was all for the lottery when they put it up for vote 10-12 years ago, but if I knew I'd get stuck behind one of these douchebags scratching his tickets off at the counter or running all his numbers through the scanner nearly every time I set foot in a gas station, I would have certainly voted the other way.

I always wondered.... is it 15 different items? Or could you have like ten 2 liter cokes, four cans of spam, 3 packs of gum, 2 large bags of cheese puffs, and a can of organically grown tofu and that count as 5 items or 20? Cause I was behind someone whoe tried to make the case they were legal.

Not sure, but the other day my wife sent me shopping and I had to use the regular line, even though she said I should be able to use the express lane. Unfortunately the list she gave me was way more than 15 items, and her grammar was bad also.

1 Carrot
2 Eggs
3 Bottle of 7-Up
4 bag of apples
5 loaf of bread
6 tub of butter
7 jar of peanut butter
8 box of cereal
9 dishwasher soap
10 bottle of bleach
11 box of trash bags
12 pound of sliced ham
13 pound of sliced cheeze
14 light bulb
15 gallon milk

Not sure if she was going to bathe in the milk and do you know how hard it is to buy 2 eggs? Jeez that woman.
