38-1

One thing you have to love about 'ol Cal...he's shining the light on the ridiculous one and done deal. Get a few of those guys and nobody really cares much. Assemble a whole team and maybe it will show just how stupid it is. Hopefully this accelerates the process of getting this rule thrown out. Then, his pipeline dries up and things will be competitive again. I think ultimately he cuts off his nose to spite his face. It's not good for the college game and it hasn't helped the NBA figure out if the kids can play.

Cal would still have one of the better teams every year even with a 2 year or three year rule.

Except...not to quibble about terminology, but there are only 2 slamdunk 1-and-dones on this team...Towns and Lyles. The other 2 freshmen may play their way to the NBA next year. Not really a 1-and-done team so much as it is a stockpiling of talent.

I doubt Cal keeps up the mass substitutions so frequently though. Buffalo was so effective for a half because they shot well and I think the dual group hurts offensively because he's subs to quickly and it took longer to get started.

If he wants group cohesion, he almost has to keep them up. The effort on the defensive end is where it all starts for the Cats. Buffalo put their head down and went at us like they didn't care who we were. Offensively our set stuff will need lots of work. We have a long time until December 5th when the next challenge arrives.

People gotta have something to talk about. These Cats are badass, but not as much as an NBA team.

Per ESPN via KSR:

Seems most of the country thinks this.

They wrong.

That is ridiculous. Kentucky wouldn't get embarassed, but they'd probably be a double digit underdog in every game.

I'd give them a 50/50 shot of winning a single game in a best of 7 series.

Am I right Cat fans have 3 games circled on the scheduled for an undefeated season?

Dec 13th North Carolina (home)
Dec 27th Louisville (away)
Feb 7th Florida (away)

Win those three and it looks like an undefeated team into the NCAA Tourney.

Any smart fan knows that, like the cleche, it's one game at a time.

We'll probably end up facing UF 3 times. More than likely they can beat us at least once. Nothings guaranteed in the NCAAT, we'll have some tough games.
