Speaking of Roy, his better days are far past him. I'd be surprised to see him coaching after three years.
On Saturday, Montrez Harrell will either:
A. Go-off for a season high scoring and rebound performance, leading the Cards to Victory.
B. Shrink quietly into the background and make his peace with the loss.
C. After getting into early foul trouble, start a brawl on a national stage and get ejected.
I assume you are referencing the 2005 championship (which was his second year). He went so far downhill that he again won the national championship in 2009. But, yes, since 2009 not as much success.I know this is old but I had to comment... I have always thought he has to regret leaving Kansas. He was just never able to carry his momentum over and just had a good team from the previous regime to work with that first year, but went downhill after that National Championship game.
I'd love to see the one and done rule go just to see how good of a coach Cal is from a developing stand point. I can't stand the guy but I'm for sure not knocking him. 90% of the players he recruits, if going to another team, would likely be their teams best player and all conference. Its just ridiculous to see that talent every year and see them leave and completely rebuild to be the best team again.
true. buts let be real. how many would have went into the draft instead of college.
