Some days it's better to be lucky than good. Which in UT'S case, they are neither.
Kinda like Ky football.
Considering UT's roster and depth, they've overachieved so far. Considering Ky's roster and depth, they shouldn't have had to go to OT to win against two average at best SEC teams. You better hope they get better as the season goes along. It only takes one loss in the NCAA's.
Overcheived but still mediocre, meaning they stink. Only difference, is that UK football has some tangible gains and real upside in the horizon. UT hoops has neither.
I'll take a bet on UT's hoops upside over Ky's football upside anytime you want. Ky has rarely done jack sh*t in football. UT has in hoops. Once Tyndall gets a real class in and not having to scrape together one along with what Martin left then we'll see. Anyone that knows anything about basketball knows he can coach. Cal has a freakin' semi-pro team and just barely beat two teams with 1/10 the talent.
