38-1

IDK, 15 point conference win on the road where you hold them to 43 points....looks good to me.

Enlighten me on how a 15 point win on the road in conference play against a good defensive team is so ugly?

That was an ugly game. Am i complaining? Hell no. We put together a couple of runs at the end of the first and end of the second. But for the 15 minutes in the 1st and for about 10 min in the 2nd it was a battle. Luckily USCjr couldn't hit anything, they played well.

Ugly compared to blowouts against Kansas and UCLA? Sure. But the latter is not the norm. After you've watched 30 years of hoops you'll realize just how pretty that was.

Missing the point. Im happy as much as every UK fan. It was ugly, but the result was awesome. Booker is a beast. Ulis is Ulis, a fighter. Thats all there is to it.

35 years of watching here. We'd all love to see 50 point blowouts but some nights you get in, win, and get out.

You want to argue when there is no argument. What do you want me to say? That it was an awesome win and we dominated on the road? Im a realist, people know that.

You also have split loyalties. I don't really have room for that in my book.

Goaltenda is the exception. I don't understand how you like both UK and U of Smell, but at least they're both Kentucky teams.

According to KSR, as the clock wound down, the UK fans in Columbia not only chanted "go big blue" very loudly, but they also chimed in with "just like football," which I find delightful. It's not often that we can say that.

It's too much of a John Kerry flip flop strategy. Say everything without really saying anything, straddle the hell out of the fence and maybe jump on one side after there is a clear winner.

Nothing he says has any real substance, just repeating the obvious. Not that I don't like him, I do. It's like that nephew you gotta keep slapping around to ship them into shape.

You're a crowd pleaser dude. I was a realist around here while you were still avoiding swirlies.

Well I've always respected you and McCat for leading the way for outside fans like myself. You two were among the first posters that caught my eye back when I was a high schooler reading in the library.

I wanted to avoid this topic, but over time you've thrown a few shots here and there at me...so I'll answer them once and then be done with it. I fully admit to being a troll at one time, and purely for the lulz annoying the hell out of everyone. Got an account banned, and rightfully so. Came back as BPC and acted like a jerk, still trying to annoy UT fans when we were relevant in football and UT was starting to suck.

At some point I warmed up to the UT fanbase. I have family from the state, some who still live in the state, albeit I dont see them a lot these days. Some of the UT fans are great, some not so great. Every fan base is different. I fully admit VN is a big reason I support UT. But I don't do it to please anyone, I still root against them when they play UT, still hope they dont get our recruits, and still talk a little trash when I can. But I've learned a lot on VN. Does being a "UT fan" help me on the site? Yes. But I dont post pro UT garbage just to get likes and attention. I dont post " the obvious" and I believe some of the posters on VN would say I have some real substance. But its an opinion that Im sure others share with you.

Im now a 20 year old, engaged, and will graduate in 2.5 years from UK. I'm young compared to most of VN, and received lots of crap (justified at times) for the lack of real experience in the world. I've grown up a lot on VN. I respect everyone on here, and never ignored a single user, even though some of these crazies make a brick seem smart. I've met a lot of good people, and dare I say made a few friends. If you don't like what I post and view it as garbage, then that's fine. Like I said, I've always respected you especially, nothing you say or will say will change that.

Thanks.

I like you LittleCat, despite the countless shut ups in the end zone. You are a good poster, and oh well that you guys have a disagreement, go look at the meltdown and name calling in the fb forum amongst vol fans! Good luck with the rest of college, even though it is UK! Ha

It's not that we don't like you, Little Cat. If I don't like someone (and those are few and far between), I just put them on ignore. You're a good kid- I just had to raise my eyebrows at your observations on the USC win.

And FWIW, I despise UL with a passion- although I'm getting my PhD from there. Sometimes you have to hold your nose and do what's necessary.

I honestly didn't know you could get a PhD at Louisville. Good luck to you also.
