I'm coaching a HS team so sometimes I need to unplug from it

Jones and LaChance had predictable games. They are solid players. However, letting Fisher-Davis do the only thing he can do (shooting threes) is stupid. Surely we can defend a one-dimensional guy like him and stop that nonsense.

Jones is a great player. And it doesn't even look like he gives much effort sometimes out there.

That's a silly statement. LaChance has NO BUSINESS scoring 16 against this defense, nothing about it was predictable.

They didn't show up tonight, and played just well enough D to win. Didn't take it seriously.

Let me rephrase so you can understand. It's predictable that he's the one to get 16. He's had great offensive games this season for Vandy. Definitely, he has no business against UK doing it but he did. I'm not surprised he was the one who led them in scoring. I figured Jones would struggle but he ended up making a lot of tough shots, and obviously had issues at the line.

19-14 difference. Lots of Vandy fouls were inside when we were shooting (and a dumb one where they fouled on a desperation three). Most of our fouls were outside and holding/reaching. The foul calling was pretty good tonight, which a couple recent games couldnt be said for.

Yes, for free throws. Fouls were only 5 difference. Vandy fouled mostly inside, UK mostly outside. I do remember UK got 5 crap free throws from a flagrant and desperation three that had no chance.
