Do you honestly think Billy Donovan, while gazing at his championship banners, cares that his team lost 2 games to UT that year?

The only loss I, and the majority of Memphis fans, care about from the 2008 season is the KU loss.

If you say you don't care about that game, you're just being dishonest with yourself. The hillbilly football school that gets all the attention in the state came to your house and beat your team in the only sport that truly matters to your fans, and it happened in front of a huge crowd and an even bigger national audience.

whats hes trying to say in his biased rambling is that by the time the final Four rolled around and not only the loss, but the way we lost title game, overshadowed the UTK loss by a landslide. To say it wasnt significant is ludicrous but the KU loss hurt worse and still stings.

I'm bored waiting for another hoops game. #5 was harder than I thought. Beating Pitt would deserve a spot on here.

1. NCAA vs. OSU, 2010 - first Elite 8 in school history
2. At Memphis, Feb. 2008 - first #1 ranking in school history (albeit a short one), massive hype.
3. "Neutral" site win in downtown Pittsburgh vs. #3 Pitt, 12/11/10 - doesn't get much better than building a 20-pt lead against the top team in arguably the top conference.
4. NIT vs. Villanova, 2010 - first championship in any form, went from losing to a DII school a few wks earlier to beating an Elite 8-caliber team in MSG.
5a. Home vs. Kansas, Jan. 2010 - beat the #1 team in the country after suspensions, arrests.
5b. At Florida, 2006 - swept the eventual NCAA champs.
