3)volnation is more addicting then crack, heroin and sex combined
4)us Vols fans are like cockroaches, we are everywhere and u cant get rid of us

1. There really are reasonable and respectable Gator fans out there.
2. ESPN hates UT fans and UT fans hate them back.
3. Over the last 50 weeks, my Vol knowledge has increased exponentially.
4. I actually found other Vol fans that weren't goo-goo-gah-gah in love with Peyton Manning.
5. See #1, only applied to Alabama, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, and Kentucky fans.

1. The work day goes much faster since discovering The Nation, but strangely, less work gets done.

2. [a]Never ask OrangeEmpire a simple Civil War question unless you are prepared to muddle through a 1500 word thesis on the impact of the rifled barrel on battlefield planning . Never suggest to RealUT that republicans are anything less than God's own party of choice.[c] Never start a discussion on Media in America with volinBham if you are not prepared to spend an entire day happily debating a true gentleman.

3. Smileys really do help express the emotion of your post, but can be frightfully overused.

4. There is no substitute for a thread topic that is hotly debated by three or four posters who know what they think, and understand how to communicate it.

5. I know personally only a very few of you Nationals, but take immeasurable joy in the feeling that I have a vast account of friendships at the click of a mouse....

6. For those of you who are Vol fans, but only visit on football weeks, know that you are missing one of the greatest parts of life in The Nation.... offseason.

2. I hate Alabama and Florida equally, followed closely by Georgia, the entire Big 10 and Pac 10 conferences, and every other Florida University...and the rest of the SEC.:the_finger:

1a. That Jimmy Clausen was the best QB to ever play college football without even taking a snap, until he commited to Notre Dame at which time he instantly became the most overrated, over-hyped high school QB in the history of American football.
1b. Eric Ainge was the worst QB in the history of SEC football with no chance to turn around one bad season. A true lost cause and we should turn to the savior of the UT program, our very own next Peyton Manning, JC to start this season because he completed some spring practice passes. And, now those same posters are infuriated that Eric Ainge is not leading the Heisman voting.
2. That computer polls which analyze the Pac 10 and determine it to be a stronger conference than the SEC must have a worse substance abuse problem than Koren Robinson and Ricky Williams combined.
3. If you listen to Yoda, a.k.a. Hatvol, he will lead you to enlightenment.
4. There is no need to worry about losing Cut at the end of this season because there are plenty of capable OC's on this board.
5. Lamarcus Coker's high school sweetheart posts on our message board under the secret screename of mikey.

That role is exclusively reserved for MemphisVol if and when he returns.

1. Football is taken far more seriously in the south than on the west coast... Although we're nowhere near as bad as the northeast.

2. Hatvol has straddled the fine line between abrasiveness and conviction enough to earn the respect of most posters, where others have failed. I point to donsargegolf, aka John Majors' cabana boy.

3. SEC fans can be sheer imbeciles, but they just seem to stand out over the ten times larger number of kind folks around.

4. Folks in the south could learn a lot by traveling west, just as westerners could learn a lot by traveling to the south. Which I plan on accomplishing... Sometime.

5. Gotta get some Jack Daniels and Opus X lined up for gameday.

2. Not all UF fans are bad (I just threw up in my mouth a litle bit)
