If I'm security there it's good to know it'll take 11 minutes for help when someone fires 200 rounds at me!
Was there no one else on the entire floor????

Something is started to stink about this. A guard is shot and doesnt radio or call police? No one notices 200 rounds being fired and calls downstairs? That six minutes before he opened up on the crowd is critical.
Heard a caller on a local show who claimed to be a former LV hotel security guard - he was asking the same question saying clearly the SG would have called it in and there are plenty of armed SG people in the building who typically would have responded.
Definitely requires some 'splaining
But did the security guard who was shot first call it in after he had been shot, and how much time passed before he did?The ****e had hit the fan. There are people pouring into the hotel, many covered in blood. Cops don't know crap. Things are not working at optimal efficiency. I don't know how eager security guards armed with a handgun are going to be to respond to a call that a guy just shot 200 holes in the walls and doors of 2 rooms in a matter of seconds. Me? F that. I will assist with the crap on the main floor. Elevators are slammed with people escaping.

That elapse in time between shots makes me think someone else was in the room at the time and they escaped before the attack on the crowd. The point is that all this occurred before the SHTF.
The SG was shot and it was 6 minutes before anymore shots occurred. None of the other SGs would have had any idea about what was about to occur; cops either.
I understand why the cops didn't get there before the concert aimed shooting occurred. Just wondering what hotel Security decided to do when at that point all they knew was on of their own was shot by a guest.
