6/20 Update: Today is the Day

He's my only son and we had a lot of difficulties not only conceiving but during the pregnancy and birth as well so were beyond thankful for him being here with us but are also ready to get all these procedures behind us. Prayers for you, your family, the surgeons and especially the little guy. No child should ever have to endure anything like this procedure.

My family, my church (CHilhowee Hills Baptist Church), & my Bible Fellowship Class will be lifting up “Little Neyland”, you & your wife and entire family. That is about 600 people lifting all of you up to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. We are praying for a hedge of protection to be put around Neyland and the doctors and nurses. James 5;16 - The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. God loves to see his children being obedient to their faith when they pray for fellow Brothers & Sisters in Christ. We are praying for God to gain “ALL THE GLORY”.God Bless

update: Neylands surgery was just over 2 hours and everything went according to plan and hes doing fine in recovery now. We will be able to see him in the next 30 mins to an hour. Thanks again yall for all your uplifting words and comments...it means more than yall know.

We did as decent as parents can for the minimum 2 hours they said it could take....but you could see my heart beating in my wrist and my stomach about 5 mins after the 2 hours. luckily it wasnt long after that before the surgeon came to consult us and said he was fine. He did have a reaction to the gas anesthesia where his temperature and CO2 went up....its rare that happens they said but he responded to treatment for it immediately and will be in the PICU for atleast 24hrs due to it just to be on the safe side.
